The new blood didn't last long on The Rookie Season 3 Episode 11, and I found that oddly disappointing.
I say oddly because I had no interest in the new rookies coming into this episode, and I have to admit, The Badger made me cringe when crowed about Nolan being his role model for joining the force.
The Badger was exactly the kind of recruit Sgt. Grey had dreaded would be inspired by Nolan's success, and it turns out he wasn't wrong.
I immediately wondered who The Badger would be paired with since Harper was still officially training Nolan, Bradford was being paired with Officer Barnes, and Lopez was now a detective.
Having Officer Maser wash out at roll call in one of the most inept and dangerous ways possible made that question irrelevant. But his few minutes of air time were worth it just to hear this interaction between Bradford and Harper.

Written and directed by Alex Barrett, serving as his feature directorial debut and premiered at this year’s Edinburgh Film Festival, Life Just Is follows four university graduates living in London – Pete (Jack Gordon), Tom (Nathaniel Martello-White), Claire (Fiona Ryan>) and Jay (Jayne Wisener) – who find themselves having trouble making the move into adult life. As they hang out, throw parties, and attempt to navigate their new responsibilities, romantic tensions stir and desires to find a spiritual answer to life’s meaning arise, as the true meaning of their friendships are put to the test.
Freeing himself from any distractions due to the film’s small budget, Barrett’s directorial style is very simple, but Life Just Is avoids the flaws of many independent films and doesn’t fall flat to inexpensive looking frames or poor definitions. With minimal cinematic interferences and the use of only a couple of sets,...

UK sky-high horror 'Airborne' has disembarked a new piece of poster artwork. This week has been completely nuts and I still can’t believe I get to do these things! In the last few days, I got to the Baftas, meet Sir Paul McCartney, have dinner with multiple Hollywood legends and now this evening (or last night by the time you’re reading this), Colin and myself got to go to the set of a new movie which was shooting on the Jumbo Jet which you’ll probably have seen in the background of multiple shots if you’re a fan of the BBC TV show, Top Gear.
Wednesday is actually the day that Top Gear is filmed and as we arrived at the aerodrome in Surrey, there was amass of 200 odd cars leaving the airfield as the Top Gear show had just finished filming for the day. It was quite surreal being the only car going in while everyone else left!
