- Chris Buongiorno was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Valencia, California. He was introduced to the film industry at an early age by his father, Brian, a renowned visual effects artist who worked closely with directors Mark Romanek, Gore Verbinski, David Fincher, and Spike Jonze during their early days at Propaganda Films. Chris attended Otis College of Art and Design for two years before transferring to Art Center College of Design, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Film. While at Art Center, he received a Student Emmy Award for 'Best Music Video.'
