Cheryl Ariaz Wicker, born in Nashville, Tennessee, began her acting
career by studying theater and drama at Belmont University but
graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia with a degree
in Psychology. She began acting in church and community theater
productions which led to commercials and hosting for television shows.
Cheryl first stepped behind the camera as a local television show
producer, although she continued her on camera role as a host and
celebrity interviewer. She moved into network programming in a variety
of roles for shows airing on CBS, ESPN, BET, FOX Sports and PAX.
Cheryl's entry into film began as an extra and a production assistant on "Glory Road." She found a niche in film in casting which opened the door to her first film producer role. She has since produced two features. Her latest feature, Flag of My Father," garnered the Best Narrative Feature Award at the 2011 GI Film Festival.
