A little boy set up a lemonade stand selling cups for 25 cents and made $10,000 to help his father with cancer bills -- how sweet! Six-year-old Drew Cox of Gladewater, Texas decided on April 14 to raise money for his father Randy Cox by selling lemonade. Drew's father was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer three months ago and he thought that he could help with the medical bills by using his lemonade stand. The stand started out small, but once word of his efforts passed on, cars were lining up to contribute to his unbelievably heartwarming gesture, Kltv reports. "He is so important to me, we love to play with each other," Drew tells the Texas television channel.
The amount raised by young Drew by the end of the day was more than $10,000. One customer wrote Drew a check for $5,000 -- the lemonade was only 25 cents a cup!
