Over the course of 2014, wrestling fans have seen more releases and departures from WWE than any other year in recent memory. The WWE Network has forced WWE to cut back on costs, so it was only a matter of time before undercard guys such as Brodus Clay, Yoshi Tatsu and Jtg finally hit the bricks. There were some, however, who were more surprising than others including; Evan Bourne, Drew McIntyre and even Raw ring announcer Justin Roberts. No one was safe from getting the ax and 2015 may be no different.
Even after the mass amount of firings WWE did this year, there’s still plenty of people left on the roster who are simply wasting space. There are a number of names that solely compete on WWE Superstars, Main Event or not at all. In fact, you wouldn’t even know they were still employed if you didn...

The wrestling business is a very tough industry to make a good living from. On Thursday we found out via WWE.com that they had released at least superstars, one diva and a referee. It wasn’t expected, but none of the names were that surprising either. Guys like Drew McIntyre, Evan Bourne and Curt Hawks are all talented wrestlers, but the reality is if you’re not in a featured role on television then you’re expendable.
If you work for WWE you’re doing well financially, but there is no second game in town. While companies like Tna Wrestling and Ring of Honor are surviving, a lot of their talent are also working indy shows as ways to make money. Tna had house shows this past weekend with 200 people attending the events. There are many indy shows every weekend that do better than that. They may survive the year,...

Nxt’s impact on the future of the WWE was spotlighted this past Monday on Raw. The show after WrestleMania has become known for its shocking moments, surprise returns and big debuts. We all remember last year when Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank contract and defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the World Champion. The year before that, Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE to greet John Cena with an F5.
This year’s post WrestleMania Raw was centered around many Nxt talents. After weeks of hype, Alexander Rusev had his first singles match on Raw and squashed Zack Ryder. In what may have been the most shocking moment of the night, Nxt Divas Champion Paige made her debut and won the WWE Divas title. She made history becoming the first wrestler to hold an Nxt title and WWE title at the same time.

WrestleMania is historically the culmination of the WWE season. Storylines, feuds, and championship reigns come to an end, as new title-holders take their new belts to TV, preparing for their next challenger. Old faces take a leave of absence, and new faces take their place. Sometimes that new face is a brand-new wrestler, one the WWE audience may have never seen. Sometimes they’re a returning wrestler, debuting a new character, name, and/or attitude. Sometimes they’re a surprise, and sometimes the WWE Universe is chanting their name before they ever hit the ring.
Most of the debuts happen on the WWE’s flagship show Raw; during the brand-split, Smackdown was home to at least one humongous debut.
Who made the Top 10? Here they are, the Top Debuts and Returns in Post-WrestleMania History.

After more than twenty years and well over a thousand episodes, Monday Night Raw remains WWE’s flagship show. It’s the “A-show” and watched by millions of dedicated weekly viewers. Without question, the show will continue to play an integral role in the WWE as they are banking heavily on the upcoming TV Rights Fee increases. With the evolution of Pay-Per-View programming to be included on the WWE Network, undoubtedly, Monday Night Raw is going to continue to be the centerpiece of WWE programming.
Thus looking at who is regularly booked on Raw (and in which segments) will tell you a whole lot about how the company views those performers and their importance in the company. Don’t be decieved – whilst the Monday Night Wars with WCW Nitro may have come and gone, WWE still pays very close attention to Raw ratings, particularly segment-by-segment.

When the WWE no longer needs its roster to be large enough to sustain a thirty-man main event after the Royal Rumble, a clean-out is never far off.
Every year, the dead weight of the WWE roster are wished well in their ‘future endeavors’ as they are released from this contract. After this, all bets are off – some have gone on to redefine themselves and come back better, whilst others have languished in the small time or retired straight off.
Who will join the ranks of the ‘future endeavored’ this year?
8. Jtg
In the far-flung-future, wrestling fans will ask, ‘where were you when Jtg got his marching orders?’ Despite making only the scarcest of appearances in the WWE (in 2013, Jtg has wrestled in seven televised matches, all of which were on Superstars), the cult of Jtg and his continued employment remains strong. A quick google search of ‘is Jtg still employed?...

Even though everybody is bemoaning the weakness of the tour season this summer, there's one artist who has bucked the trend: Lady Gaga. Her sold-out-everywhere Monster Ball tour has been one of the hottest tickets in the world since it launched, and the artist continues to deliver night after night after night. As a result, fans of Mother Monster have become victims of ticket-related scams. The latest victim? WWE wrestler Jayson Paul (known on screen as Jtg, formerly one half of tag team Cryme Tyme).
A self-proclaimed "Lady Gaga fanatic," Jtg answered a post on Craigslist for a pair of tickets to Gaga's Wednesday night (August 11) show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. He paid $125 each for the pair of ducats, but when he arrived at the venue to check out the Monster Ball, he was denied entry because his tickets were fake.
He spoke to TMZ about the incident.
