FremantleMedia North America co-ceo Craig Cegielski is departing the company, TheWrap has learned. Jennifer Mullen, who was appointed co-ceo alongside Cegielski in 2015, will remain onboard and assume full responsibility as the sole CEO. The news comes a few weeks after Fremantle’s “American Gods,” from executive producers Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, debuted on Starz. Cegielski will remain attached to the scripted series as an executive producer. It was also recently announced that FremantleMedia would be reviving the singing competition “American Idol” on ABC next season.
