In the last two years, Florencia Martin has quickly established herself as the go-to production designer for auteurs who want to transform modern day Los Angeles into a vivid evocation of the city as it exists in our memories, dreams, and fantasies. Her meticulous recreations of the 197os San Fernando Valley in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Licorice Pizza” and 1950s Hollywood in Andrew Dominik’s “Blonde” represent some of the most impressive design work in recent memory, but Martin was just getting warmed up: With “Babylon,” Damien Chazelle’s celebration and indictment of Hollywood in the late 1920s, the production designer has created her most sprawling, detailed, and audacious sets to date.
Working with set decorator Anthony Carlino, Martin fills scene after scene with colorful surroundings that both express and comment on the characters’ inner desires and tensions, all while remaining faithful to the period without losing a modern sense of immediacy.

Our lives would suck without Kelly Clarkson. The pop singer known for her powerful pipes was introduced to us in the first season of “American Idol” on Fox in 2002, launching a career that spans the 21st century. She won that competition, but what are the best songs she has recorded since then? Scroll down to see how we rank her greatest hits. Do you agree with our pick for her number-one song of all time?
In the years since Clarkson’s “Idol” coronation, the show has been inconsistent in delivering artists with lasting music careers, though standouts like Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson have also stood the test of time. Clarkson was actually the first “Idol” alum to win a Grammy, claiming Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (“Since U Been Gone”) and Best Pop Album (“Breakaway”) in 2006. She also claimed Best Pop Album for “Stronger” in 2013. And that album’s...

Brad Paisley added a country twang — and a healthy dose of wah-wah pedal — to Color Me Badd's Nineties R&B swagger during a delightfully weird performance of "I Wanna Sex You Up" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday.
The performance marked the first installment in Kimmel's latest "Mash Up Monday" series, and the artists were aptly renamed "Color Me Bradd" for the occasion. Their powers blended easily together, with Color Me Badd frontman Bryan Abrams' vocals soaring over Paisley's astonishing assortment of guitar tricks.

Their stated goal is to uphold the law of the land and put the bad guys behind bars, but every TV fan knows that our favorite small-screen cops, detectives, and agents — as well as their colleagues who semi-officially serve in crime-fighting capacities — have a duty to increase pulses and raise the temperatures of whatever rooms they enter.
We recently wrapped up a 64-player bracket tournament for male law-enforcement types — won by NCIS‘ Tony Dinozzo — and since we’re equal opportunity oglers/romantics, we figured we’d better construct a similar showdown for their female counterparts.

When Tamyra Gray gave birth to daughter Sienna Marie last July, the former American Idol contestant was shocked to find out that, “she looked nothing like me.” Gray and husband Sam Watters‘ first child together was definitely Dad’s twin.
“The only reason you’d know she was mine is if you were at the hospital,” says Gray, 31, with a chuckle. But now, 10 months later, Gray says their daughter is “a good blend of both of us. She’s got his head with my face.”

Former "American Idol" finalist Tamyra Gray and husband Sam Watters have a new gig: singing lullabies to their newborn daughter.
Gray, who finished fourth on the inaugural season of "Idol," and Watters, formerly of Color Me Badd, welcomed a daughter into the world a few weeks ago. Sienna Marie was born July 17.
"We are overjoyed with the arrival of our little lady," Gray tells People. "I've never known love to this capacity. She smiles already and it just stills my heart."
Gray, who turned 31 nine days after the baby was born, and Watters, 39, have been married since December 2006. They opted to wait to find out whether the baby was a boy or girl, and Watters says his gut feeling turned out to be wrong. Not that he's complaining.
"I couldn't believe it," he tells the magazine. "I was overjoyed though."
Cheers to the new parents!

Former Color Me Badd star Sam Watters is set to become a father again this summer - his former "American Idol" contestant wife Tamyra Gray is pregnant with the couple's first child. Gray has revealed she's due on 14 July this year.
Thrilled Watters says, "We're really excited. We don't know what the sex is yet. We're waiting to be surprised. I would love a girl, but I think it's a boy. We'll see if I'm right." He added, "She's doing yoga all the time and she eats real healthy."
"The pregnancy was a surprise so we stopped right in the middle of the album. But by no means is Tamyra like, 'I want to settle down.' This baby is going to be on the road. I'm looking forward to it."
The "I Wanna Sex You Up" hitmaker, who is now an in-demand producer, has an 11-year old son from his previous marriage.

Tamyra Gray is starting on the next generation of "American Idol"s.
The first season finalist and her husband Sam Watters is expecting her first child, reports EW.
The little one is due in July, and the couple does not plan on learning the sex of the baby beforehand.
It was a huge surprise when Gray, 30, was booted off "American Idol" season 1 since she was arguably one of the best singers. Watters, a former member of Color Me Badd, is a music producer.
They wed in Italy in 2006, and Gray is the stepmom to Watters' son Kieran from a previous marriage.

17-year-old "American Idol" alumni Allison Iraheta is preparing to release her debut album, "Just Like You," on December 1st. But the red-haired rocker isn't waiting for her second album to pull out the big guns. Her debut features songwriting and production from the likes of Max Martin, Pink, and Kara DioGuardi.
Kelly Clarkson named Iraheta as one of her favorite Idols last season and now her "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker is at the helm of her first single, "Friday I'll Be Over U," along with Shellback. The two also wrote and produce the title track for the album, "Just Like You."
Also fresh off Clarkson's current hit album are producers Howard Benson and Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. Benson produced tracks like single "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Don't Let Me Stop You" for Clarkson, and contributes "Don't Waste the Pretty" and "Still Breathing" to Iraheta's album. Watters...

Let the rock-off begin! Just days after the track listing and 30-second samples of Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment were revealed, the tracks and talent roster for fellow "American Idol" alum Allison Iraheta's Just Like You have been unveiled. The list of familiar contributors to the album suggests that while Iraheta is digging into her rock roots, she's also seriously indulging her pop side as well.
Like Lambert, Iraheta tapped "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi for some songwriting help for the LP, due out December 1. Kara penned "No One Else" with Pink (listed by her birth name, Alecia Moore) and Grammy-nominated producer/writer Greg Wells (Katy Perry, OneRepublic, Kelly Clarkson), who also contributed to Lambert's album.
