Homegrown productions have a tendency to be very close to the bottom of the barrel. Face it, your budget is nil and your Uncle Earl can.t act. It.s always good when a production takes the potential lemons and makes delicious lemonade. Such is the case with the H.P. Lovecraft inspired House of Black Wings. Kate Stone (Leah Myette) had it all. She started off in a local band but was able to get a record contract and made it big. The problem with having it all is that it can all be taken away in an instant. She finds that out when a violent act at one of her concerts leaves a band-mate dead and her wounded.
