Gai Griffin

Gai Griffin was born and grew up in Dublin. Her childhood dream of
writing turned into a career in advertising where she numerous awards
including one for her TV ad 'Every Childhood lasts a lifetime' for
children's charity Barnardos which was described as best Irish TV ad of
all time. She wrote the screenplay for 'Bye bye Inkhead' for RTE's
'Short Cuts'. She has traveled the world writing features for Irish
magazines including Image, Irish Tatler and Cara. In 2011, her first
novel 'Postcards from the heart' was published by Orion in London under
her pen name Ella Griffin to very positive reviews and her second novel
is due out in 2012. Ella lives in County Wicklow, Ireland with her
husband.
