Born in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1977, Marcel Wehn started studying movie directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2000, focusing on documentary film making. He interrupted his studies for a one year stay in Italy. In 2007 he graduated from film school with the award winning movie "One who set forth- Wim Wenders' early years". His films have been screened at more than 80 international film festivals including the Berlinale. In 2009/2010 he has been a fellow at the artists residency Academy Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart.
Marcel Wehn works as a freelanced filmmaker with focus on documentaries and corporate movies. As a frequent guest lecturer he teaches film analysis, film dramaturgy, corporate film and film and architecture at several universities and academies. Marcel Wehn lives with his family in Berlin, Germany.
