Kleinberg previously served as general counsel and evp of operations and business affairs. Prior to joining Open Road Films, Kleinberg served as COO of United Artists and before that he was a partner at the law firm of Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy Edel & Klein.
Andriuzzo joined Open Road Films at its inception in 2011 from Paramount Pictures, where he served as svp of planning and finance for the domestic home entertainment division. Tom Ortenberg has put together his executive team for Open Road Films, the indie film distribution company launched by theater chains AMC and Regal. As Deadline told you last month, former executive vice president of Worldwide Marketing for Miramax Jason Cassidy is Open Road’s new president of marketing. Ortenberg also named Elliott Kleinberg General Counsel and exec veep of operations and business affairs, Steven Andriuzzo as chief financial officer, and Ben Cotner as senior veep of acquisitions. The Tom Cruise-run MGM wing has hired literary scout Claire Lundberg to accelerate UA's lit acquisitions. The New York-based Lundberg, who was director of development at Scott Rudin Prods., will report to production president Don Granger.
"Claire is not only an experienced hand with great instincts," said UA COO Elliott Kleinberg, "she is also a film fanatic whose passion makes her a welcome addition to our team."
While with Rudin, Lundberg was involved in acquiring Khaled Hosseini's "A Thousand Splendid Suns," which Steven Zaillian is adapting; Conn & Hall Iggulden's "The Dangerous Book for Boys"; and Stacey Schiff's "Cleopatra." She also worked as a book scout for Linda Clark Associates.

Elliott Kleinberg has been named COO of the revamped United Artists.
The longtime entertainment attorney will oversee the studio's legal, financial and business affairs and report to UA CEO Paula Wagner.
Kleinberg began his legal career in 1996 at the law firm of Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy Edel & Klein. Since then, he has repped a roster of powerhouse clients, including Cruise/Wagner Prods., Jack Nicholson, J.K. Rowling, Village Roadshow Pictures, The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Jagged Films, Peter Fonda, Sogecine, Maloof Entertainment and Mandalay Resort Group.
"We are delighted to have been able to persuade him to join our team at United Artists," Wagner said. "His expertise in business affairs as well as in legal and financial matters is enormous. "
