Sitcom superstar Kunal Nayyar, in recent years one of the highest paid actors on television due to his lucrative, long-running role on “The Big Bang Theory,” and his wife, former Miss India turned fashion designer Neha Kapur, have hung a not quite $4 million price tag on their remarkably private former home that is discreetly tucked into a quiet, little-known pocket of the star-studded Nichols Canyon area of L.A’s Hollywood Hills. Nayyar and Kapur acquired the secluded compound about 8.5 years ago for $2.85 million. Previous owners of the property include actor Jeffrey Duncan Jones, best known as hilariously humiliated Dean of Students Ed Rooney in the seminal 1986 comedy “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”.

Veteran sitcom writer and producer Dave Goetsch listed his extensively updated and professionally decorated 1920s Spanish villa in the conveniently central lower Nichols Canyon area of Los Angeles, Calif., at $2.199 million. Goetsch, a four-time Emmy nominee for his work on the mega-hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” who in the late 1990s and early 2000s rose from a staff writer to a producer on “3rd Rock from the Sun,” has owned the property since 2001 when he bought it for $1.02 million. At 2,751-square-feet, the by-Hollywood-standards modestly proportioned residence sits on an unconventionally shaped .16-acre, street-to-street lot with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
The house was worked over for Goetsch and wife Jennifer Wang by Just Joh, an L.A. based design firm that has also done up interior and/or exterior spaces for film director R.J. Cutler, eccentric billionaire Richard Branson, actor Matthew Perry and, as it turns out, “The Big Bang Theory...

Kunal Nayyar‘s sophisticated home in Los Angeles’s Nichols Canyon is less Big Bang, and more soft breeze.
The actor, who has played Rajesh Koothrappali on the hit sitcom since 2007 (season 11 debuts Sept. 25), chose his Spanish-style compound after nearly a year of house hunting with wife, Neha Kapur Nayyar. The pair looked at homes in all different styles, before Neha, a fashion designer and former Miss India, fell in love with a 5,000-square-foot hacienda with a unique seashell pink hue and a significant triangular layout.

What makes one of TV’s biggest stars sweat? A meet-and-greet with the Queen.
Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar visited Buckingham Palace in February for a reception to celebrate the start of 2017’s UK-India Year of Culture, where he hobnobbed with event hosts Princess Kate, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth herself.
And even though he’s been starring on the biggest hit in comedic television for 10 years, a meeting with the British monarch made Nayyar nervous. He recounted the experience to Ellen DeGeneres on a visit to her show, telling the host that he was a nervous wreck the entire time.

The king of all theoretical physicists is coming to the set of The Big Bang Theory. Stephen Hawking is a hero the Jim Parsons character, the quirky Sheldon Cooper, much like Leonard Nimoy, who is also finally coming to the hit comedy. It is definitely Shelly’s lucky year!
TV Line had the news about Hawking’s upcoming, confirmed guest appearance. Details are being kept pretty hush hush, and no one can cast blame there. The April 5 show may be fairly epic.
As for the world’ most famous Vulcan actor, Mr. Nimoy is set to appear in the March 29th episode. Did I say appear? I should say he’ll be heard, not seen. It is his voice that will make it’s Big Bang Theory debut when Spock speaks to Sheldon in a dream. One can only imagine how Shelly will react.
Nabbing Hawking is quite an accomplishment for CBS.
