David began his career in Chicago where he was born and raised. His
decision to become an actor came after taking a career counselor
questionnaire and it recommending that 'performing arts' was the
occupation for which he was most suited. Within three months David was
cast in a national commercial. Since then David has worked on numerous
projects on the stage and screen. David is also the creator of "A Love
Lost Life", a biographical stage drama about the late Marlon Brando.
This 90-minute, nine member cast production has been performed in
Orlando, Miami, Des Moines, West Palm Beach and most recently Chicago.
David attended the same high school as lead singer of Fall Out Boy
Patrick Stump and actress Mercedes Mason.
Part of David's research while writing 'A Love Lost Life' involved
speaking to Marlon Brando's oldest son Christian on numerous occasions.
'Christian Brando' was also Barnes' character in the play.
