James Branscome is a filmmaker filtering his world through
cult films, cut and paste art, and aural rituals to form an
idiosyncratic cinematic vision.
Specializing in the eclectic and the offbeat, he has collaborated with
such artist as DTCV, Kent State, Suspect, and Shivering Window on music
videos, a fake anti-drug PSA for the found footage classic WNUF
Halloween Special, and a variety of short and long form film and video
projects.
Besides his own cinematic endeavors, he has joined forces on such
projects as Brian Poor's The Escape (Presented by Kat Von D), Beyond
Fest, and the feature length documentary From the Back of the Room.
