- Running back with the Kansas City Chiefs (1966-1970[start]) and San Diego Chargers (1970[end]-1973).
- Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985.

- Halfback on the Universith of Southern California's football team, 1963-1965.
- Led the AFL in Rushing Average (5.4) in 1966.
