While power couple, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, are often swirling through the news, Whoopi Goldberg is ready to snooze on Travis. During a segment of The View, Whoopi talks about boredom with a hot topic over Travis and his online actions.
Whoopi Goldberg Thinks Talking About Travis Kelce’s Actions Is Boring
On Wednesday’s episode of The View, the panel was discussing one controversial topic over Travis Kelce. While Travis is usually in the news for football or association with his pop icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift, now he’s getting political. Specifically, the subject at hand was Travis’ recent “liking” of an Instagram post by reporter Sage Steele. Within the post Sage is shaking hands with Donald Trump at a UFC event. While discussing, some of the panelist were getting pumped up about the interaction. However, Whoopi Goldberg was not showing much interest. Notably, Sara Haines catches Whoopi’s disinterest and jokingly comments,...

During the March 25 episode of The View, the co-hosts of the morning talk show expressed their deepest regrets following the latest news on Kate Middleton‘s cancer diagnosis, the announcement of which put the rumors and their own speculations to rest. “I forgot something fundamental that we all know: Someone can be dealing with personal struggles we don’t know about,” said Alyssa Farrah Griffin. “We’re so quick to join the bandwagon and think it’s fun and forget these are actual human beings who are going through something.” “I didn’t think there was something more serious going on,” she admitted. “And I feel awful over it.” Sarah Haines opened up about her own friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. “That diagnosis is heart wrenching. I was sitting with my best friend who had breast cancer in her 30s, has two daughters. So to watch her relive her own moment,...

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts used to be amongst Amy Robach’s colleagues and friends, but that may no longer be true.
Robach and co-host Tj Holmes were fired from ABC over a year ago after media reports surfaced about what was deemed a scandalous affair between the coworkers.
They’ve since started their Amy & T.J. Podcast, where they delve into topics about their extramarital affair, relationship, and resulting drama from over a year ago.
During some of their early episodes, they spoke about their support groups: family, friends, and former co-workers.
While it appears Robach remained friends with some of her friends from ABC, including Sara Haines, her friendship with GMA’s Robin Roberts may not be intact.
What might have been a recent snub of Robach’s birthday by Roberts could indicate further that this is the case.

Update, with video: Joy Reid, caught on a hot mic last week seeming to criticize President Joe Biden by suggesting he was threatening to start “another f*cking war,” the MSNBC host appeared on ABC’s The View today and attempted to clarify her comment.
Asked by View co-host Sarah Haines whether the hot mic comment was criticizing Biden, Reid at first offered a joking “cute no comment” before expounding on the matter.
“I’m a Red Letter Christian,” she said, referring to the non-denominational social justice movement that emphasizes the actual words of Jesus – traditionally printed in red ink in Bibles. “I don’t believe in war, whether it’s the Governor in Texas literally trying to start another Civil War over an issue that his party could solve tomorrow – there’s literally a bill that they could pass and do the border issue – or whether it’s in the Middle East.

The ladies of The View have a message for conservative news outlets and politicians targeting Taylor Swift: You need to calm down.
Tuesday’s episode began with a discussion about Fox News’ apparent crusade against the pop star, which included clips of people like Jeanine Pirro, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham alleging that Swift’s liberal political influence over younger voters heading into the 2024 presidential election is not only misguided but dangerous.

“The View” cohost and comedian Joy Behar couldn’t help but take a jab at “Fubar” star and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Wednesday morning, joking that he had an affair with his housekeeper out of laziness.
“Men are so lazy they have to look in the next room to find somebody to do it with,” she said, emphasizing that an affair is often more appealing when less effort is required.
What Would You Do? After a spouse who just ended a years-long affair with someone wrote to 'The New York Times' for advice because they were invited to a dinner party with the person, #TheView co-hosts weigh in. https://t.co/cVclFZQmjA pic.twitter.com/58D3BZSvZs

The tension was high this morning on The View as Republican presidential candidate and South Carolina senator Tim Scott stopped by. Things between the conservative politician and the co-hosts got heated that Whoopi Goldberg had to ask production for help amid a chaotic debate.
One of the tense moments was when Sunny Hostin brought up the subject of systemic racism to Scott. The co-host and former prosecutor asked him to define it, as he had previously stated he didn’t believe in it. While Scott was answering, Hostin brought up the issue of homelessness within the Black community.
“You had your chance to ask the question. I’ve watched you on the show. You like people to be deferential and respectful, so, I’m going to do the same thing,” Scott told Hostin.
The conversation continued and being that the ABC talk show is live, time can get out of hand sometimes.

Update: The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin has a case of rebound Covid and was absent from today’s episode, more than a week after her initial diagnosis.
“Unfortunately Alyssa is not with us again because she’s got Covid,” said moderator Whoopi Goldberg at the top of the show. “Listen, we keep telling people it’s not gone, it’s still out there, so do pay attention, ‘cos it pops up and wants to give you a kiss.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin added, “She was fine, she took Paxlovid, and so she has one of those rebound cases that we hear so much about now.”
Recent studies suggest that a small fraction of people who have taken Paxlovid experience a rebound, with symptoms typically mild. The CDC notes that rebound cases are also possible independent of Paxlovid treatment, and typically require no additional medical treatment.

Whoopi Goldberg is defending Blazing Saddles from criticism that it’s a racist movie.
The backlash over the film was brought to the “Hot Topics” table following Mindy Kaling saying that The Office couldn’t be made today because the characters are too “inappropriate.”
The Mel Brooks 1974 satirical western comedy stars Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder and it’s about a politician that hires a Black sheriff to oversee a problematic village. The View’s moderator pushed back on the claims that the film was racist.
“It deals with racism by coming at it right, straight, out front, making you think and laugh about it,” she said. “It’s not just racism, it’s all the isms, he hits all the isms.”
Goldberg continued, “Blazing Saddles, because it’s a great comedy, would still go over today. There are a lot of comedies that are not good, Ok? We’re just going to say that.

Jamie Lee Curtis is open to the possibility of reprising her 2003 Freaky Friday role opposite Lindsay Lohan in a sequel.
While visiting The View to promote her new movie Halloween Ends, Curtis was asked by Sarah Haines if she would participate in a follow-up to the film that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy.
“I’ve already written to Disney — my friends at Disney, I’m in their new Haunted Mansion movie,” she said on the ABC talk show.
“I’m 64 years old today — not today, soon, in a month or whatever. My point is I’m wide open, creatively I am wide open,” she added.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin shocked her fellow panelists during the June 27 episode when she said she does not believe in abortions or “any exception” to abortion, including incest. Hostin and her fellow “The View” co-hosts spent a majority of the hour discussing the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. While Hostin is pro-life, she was against the Supreme Court justices being able to overturn Roe v. Wade.
“The court is basically saying it’s time to welcome all this new life yet we can shoot them with our newly available, completely unrestricted guns. That conflict, it was sort of shocking to me,” Hostin said. “It’s unbelievable that precedent doesn’t seem to matter anymore.”
Hostin later said, “I don’t believe in abortion, at any time. I don’t believe in any exception to it.”

“The View” took Sen. Lindsey Graham to task on Tuesday after Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said that Graham suggested he should throw away ballots in his state, where a recount for the presidential election is currently underway after Joe Biden was declared the projected winner.
“So there may have been some election tampering after all, but not quite the way ‘you-know-who’ is trying to sell it,” Whoopi Goldberg said. (She often uses “you-know-who” to refer to President Donald Trump).
Raffensperger told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Monday that Graham asked him “if the ballots could be matched back to the voters,” and that he “got the sense it implied that then you could throw those out.”
“It was just an implication of, ‘Look hard and see how many ballots you could throw out,'” Raffensperger added.
Graham has denied the allegation, saying, “No, I never said that. I said,...
