Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, Sinead worked at a video store
before the show and is now a psychology research student at the
University of Toronto. She also acted in the 10th anniversary of the
Vagina Monologues in Toronto, and she performed a piece entitled
Baghdad.
On Canada's Next Top Model, during the whole competition Sinead never appeared in bottom two and
had the most collective first call-outs, three times. Sinead's makeover
during the cycle was a fuzzy buzz-cut haircut inspired by Natalie
Portman's hairdo in V for Vendetta. The haircut inspired her to donate
her hair to children with cancer, therefore winning the challenge. She
made it into the final two with fellow contestant Rebecca Hardy.
Despite performing well, the judges believed Hardy would take fashion
to the next level instead of Sinead. Hardy was announced as the winner,
leaving Sinead as the runner-up.
