The Office is being remade again for the thirteenth time. This adaption will be an Australian version featuring a female lead, Felicity Ward, for the first time. Ward will be acting as Hannah Howard, the manager of one of the branches of Flinley Craddick, a packaging company. This adaption differs from the original U.K. version as it will follow what happens to Howard and the other branch workers when they must work from home due to their branch being shut down.
Prime Video Australia will be creating the show and it will be an eight-part series. Filming will start in June and is set to launch in 2024. Viewers can access the show through Prime membership, as it will be an Amazon Original show.
Other actors will star in the series including Steen Raskopoulos, Firass Dirani, Susan Ling Young, Josh Thomson, Shari Sebbens, Edith Poor, Lucy Schmit, Jonny Brugh, Raj Labade and Pallavi Sharda.

Single father Max (John Cho) hits the road with his teenage daughter, Wally, in this touching dramedy from director Hannah Marks. But don’t expect too many laughs: The emphasis is on the drama, since Max just found out his headaches are caused by a tumor, and his chances of surviving surgery are about 20 percent. “Even though it’s very sad, it’s empowering,” Marks promises. Also, while Max has lessons to impart (like teaching Wally to drive), it’s a two-lane road trip. Marks notes, “It’s not just a father teaching his daughter about life, but a daughter teaching her father about life. It’s such an important relationship in so many people’s lives, but you don’t see it explored that often.” Don’t Make Me Go also stars Kaya Scodelario, Jemaine Clement, Josh Thomson, Otis Dhanji, Stefania Lavie Owen, and more. "There are a lot of women who really like the thought of a man cleaning their house." Brainstorm Media has revealed an official US trailer for an Australian indie sex comedy called How to Please a Woman, both written and directed by filmmaker Renée Webster. The film opens later this month in a few American cities, and it also played at the 2022 Bentonville Film Festival. This looks like pure unadulterated fun! When her all-male house-cleaning business gets out of control, a mature woman must embrace her own sexuality, if she is to make a new life for herself. The film is described as "a precarious, often hilarious and revealing journey into the vulnerable world of what women really want and how hard it can be to get it right." Starring Sally Phillips as Gina, with Erik Thomson, Alexander England, Ryan Johnson, Caroline Brazier, Josh Thomson, Hayley McElhinney, and Tasma Walton.

“I am the Monkey King. Who in the Seven Hells are you supposed to be?”
That question could apply to everyone in Netflix’s “The New Legends of Monkey,” which has given a significant cosmetic update to the story in the 16th-century Chinese novel “Journey to the West” by Wu Cheng’en. In the adaptation, the four main characters include two who have been gender-flipped from the original tale and none who are played by Chinese actors at all, which had sparked criticism of whitewashing earlier in production and which this review will address later.
Mainstream American audiences may not be quite as familiar with the original tale as viewers in Australia, whence this new adaptation hails. Aussie kids grew up with a late-‘70s version from Japan, known as “Monkey” or “Monkey Magic” in its BBC dubbed format. The affection for that series Down Under (and in the UK) cannot be overemphasized,...

“Iron Fist.” “Death Note.” Now you can add “Legend of the Monkey” to that list of Netflix projects that are feeling the heat from Asians who are crying whitewashing.
“Legend of the Monkey” is an Australian-New Zealand co-production based on the 16th century Chinese novel “Journey to the West” and attributed to Wu Cheng’en. It tells of the pilgrimage of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang to obtain sacred texts, aided by three disciples from folklore: Sun Wukong the Monkey King, Zhu Bajie also known as Pigsy, and Sha Wujing, aka Sandy. The tale has been told many times on screen before under various names. Japan had a TV adaptation called “Monkey Magic,” and Stephen Chow released a “Journey to the West” film in 2013 with a sequel in 2017.

Four years ago, Danger 5 screened at Fantastic Fest to a welcome response. In 2014, Wastelander Panda was met with similar acclaim. Now, a similarly entertaining and fairly wacky television show arrives, this time from Housebound writer/director Gerard Johnstone no less. We’d like to introduce Terry Teo.
Whether you’re familiar with book series that inspired this (and the popular ’80s children’s television series it spawned) is irrelevant. In less than 60 seconds, we learn a whole lot about Terry, the teenage cat burglar, as soon as he opens his mouth. After entering a property that is clearly not his dwelling, Terry takes off his shoes and proclaims, “I know I’m robbing the place, but that’s no reason to be disrespectful.” And so begins the trials of a self-aware, witty and, at times, fourth wall breaking New Zealander with a skateboard and a heart of gold.

On a few occasions, many writers have labeled a Ufc event on Fox as the best card of the year on paper. We heard it for Ufc on Fox 5 and just recently for Ufc on Fox 11. Now the Ufc is on their twelfth show for Fox and it’s being considered as the best card on paper. That is completely understandable given the matchups on the card.
Besides Michael Johnson, no injuries have derailed this card unlike past Fox events. It will be headlined by a number one contender’s bout in the welterweight division between Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown. I’m ecstatic that the Ufc is using Fox to showcase number one contender fights in popular divisions. That is the best way to keep fans interested, if you can’t have a title fight on the card.
Anthony Johnson is back to face the returning Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

The Ufc falls under the category of “sports,” but since its television breakout a decade ago, the spectacle of the events has become great TV. Despite the dozens of crossover stars and ascendent champions the Ultimate Fighting Championship has produced, it’s entirely possible that the most recognizable face of the Ufc is that of announcer Bruce Buffer. With his authoritative bellow intoning his signature catchphrase “It’s Time!” Buffer has turned the simple act of introducing fighters into top-shelf television. His history with the company runs deep, and he’s as much a fan as he is one of...
