“America’s Got Talent” is TV’s only competition show that embraces all forms of variety acts, whether you’re a singer, a comedian, a magician or anything in between. Throughout its nearly two decades years on the air, seven singers have claimed victory with the others being a mix of ventriloquists, magicians, etc. (See the “AGT” winners list.) However, there are four specific variety acts that have yet to win the top prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas. If you’re tuning in to tonight’s second episode of “America’s Got Talent: The Champion” expecting to see Susan Boyle performing again, you’re about to be disappointed. Since Susan earned Mel B‘s Golden Buzzer last week, that means she’s sailed straight through to the Finals of “Agt: Champions” and is thus skipping the next four weeks of performances. The humble Scottish singer will next be seen on the Top 10 performance episode, airing February 11 on NBC.

America’s Got Talent crowned its season-eight champion after a two-hour finale Sept. 18 — but before announcing who snagged the coveted prize money and a residency in Las Vegas, NBC’s hottest competition series reflected on its most epic season yet, while also revealing a few tricks still up its sleeve.
Kathie Lee & Hoda ‘Got Talent’
Arguably the most ridiculous surprise of the evening was the appearance of Today Show goddesses Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. I’m glad Agt took advantage of its convenient location to incorporate them — but wasn’t this Wines-day Wednesday? I’m surprised they were both still awake!
Can You Feel The Love All Night?
Icona Pop‘s medley of ”I Love It” and “All Night” was another high point of the finale for me.

"America's Got Talent" Season 8 revealed its winner Wednesday (Sept. 18) -- who takes home the prize money and the Las Vegas show?
The six acts left were brought out together and one by one, they were eliminated. The act that finished sixth was Cami Bradley, which really surprised us, honestly. She was terrific and we thought she was a shoo-in to finish in the top 3.
The act that finished fifth was Collins Key and fourth was Forte, which was about right for us. Jimmy Rose finished third -- we would've swapped him with Cami Bradley.
But the Final 2 came down to comic Taylor Williamson versus dancer Kenichi Ebina. Kenichi had our vote and he was crowned the winner.

It’s been an intense couple of months on America’s Got Talent. Some of the most incredible acts the show has ever seen came to compete this season, leading up to Sept. 18′s nail-biter of a finale.
Country singer Jimmy Rose, dance-artist Kenichi Ebina, singer-songwriter Cami Bradley, magician Collins Key, operatic trio Forte and comedian Taylor Williamson delivered their final performances on the first night of the two-part finale Sept. 17, giving America one last opportunity to make up its collective mind and vote for the winner.
HollywoodLife.com predicted that either Kenichi or Collins would end the season on top, but honestly, all six of these acts deserved to finish on top.
So, which of the final six acts ended up winning the whole shebang?

I’m putting my money on the Japanese dancer & the teen-idol magician. Which act do You want to win?
I’d like to preface this post by saying two things: Whittling the last six acts down to just two was darn near impossible, and secondly, I’d be Ok with any of the finalists winning a residency in Las Vegas. They’re all equally talented in their individual fields, and I know the Sept. 18 season finale of America’s Got Talent is going to be a nail-biter. All that said, I can feel in my bones that Kenichi Ebina and Collins Key have the best shot at victory.
Kenichi Ebina
Nary a week goes by that Japanese performance artist Kenichi doesn’t completely blow our collective mind. His slick moves and baffling creativity have consistently dropped jaws all season; at times, it’s seemed like Kenichi was only in competition with himself,...

It’s down to the last six acts on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ and everyone were given one final performance before the season eight champion is revealed! So, who’s in it to win it?
Over the course of this season of America’s Got Talent, the show has made us cry, laugh, and completely shock us. America’s top six performed live on Sept. 17 and are fighting for the chance to win $1 million and a Vegas act! Each contestant performed twice — a repeat act and an all-new act. HollywoodLife.com has narrowed down the performances into our top three! Check them out and see if you agree!
Top 3 Performances Of Sept. 17
3. Forte
The first time Forte took the stage they performed their breathtaking version of Andrea Bocelli’s “The Prayer.” Second time around, it was just as amazing. The power and perfection of these guys together is almost too much.

For the finals of "America's Got Talent" Season 8, the show did an interesting thing -- the Top 6 acts each re-performed a piece from earlier in the season, then they did a new original performance.
This first round of retreads certainly favored certain types of acts. As Howie Mandel points out, Forte got to add a choir and some strings, while Jimmy Rose just kind of did his performance again. And Collins Key was charged with repeating a trick, while Taylor Williamson was at a Huge disadvantage by having to perform the same jokes.
However, Williamson was rather delightful in the twist he put on his act, while Kenichi Ebina re-performed a routine but added a lot of pizzazz. Cami Bradley performed "Believe" again, but it was still beautiful. We definitely think the first round ended up serving Williamson, Collins Key and Ebina moreso than it did the singing acts, which was unusual.

It's the finale week for America's Got Talent season 8, which the means the Top 6 have only one more performance to persuade viewers that they should win the top prize. BuddyTV, along with other reporters, spoke with the finalists about who their influences are in their genre of talent and their thoughts on making it to the very end. And read on to find out more about Taylor Williamson being bullied in high school, and what it's been like for Forte to be on the show while trying to get to know each other along the way.

Time to find out who is advancing to the finals on "America's Got Talent" Season 8 -- and let us tell you, we were pretty surprised at some of the eliminations.
The first set of results is between Chicago Boyz and Kenichi Ebina. It's a shame they both can't advance, but the Chicago Boyz had some missteps last night. In the right move, Kenichi Ebina is the one who moves on to the finals.
The second set of results is between Innovative Force and Cami Bradley. We think both of these acts should advance, but only Cami Bradley is moving on. That's a shame about Innovative Force, they were very good.
The third elimination is between the Kristef Brothers and Taylor Williamson. Howard Stern says it's "not right" that one of them is going home, but yes, it is and it's Taylor. He was not that strong -- but then, wait.

Grab your tissues – and your jaw off the floor — because the ‘America’s Got Talent’ eliminations this week had many of our favorites saying goodbye.
The Sept. 11 eliminations of America’s Got Talent shocked us to our core. After an incredible round of performances from our favorite acts, the top 12 was cut in half. One of last season’s champion the Olate Dogs also stopped by for a fun performance. But really, who made the top six?

The first acts up for elimination were the Chicago Boyz and Kenichi Ebina. This is Not okay. Both of these acts are so good, how can one be leaving us? We secretly hoped both would be moving on, but sadly that was not the case. Kenichi Ebina is the first act in the top six.
We are devastated. The Chicago Boyz were a thoroughly entertaining and fun...

We cannot recall another season of "America's Got Talent" where the Top 12 was so jam-packed with talent.
That being said, we think we can name a few acts that will not advance -- Taylor Williamson was not funny enough to compete with the caliber of talent that took the stage for the Top 12. Similarly, Jimmy Rose was not up to snuff, very lackluster for us.
Now, if the voting for the "big voices" is going to be split between Forte and Branden James, Forte has the edge there. They were much stronger, though James did play quite the trump card with "Hallelujah." Voters love that song (we prefer when it's done a little quieter, actually).
Chicago Boyz also might be in a little trouble. Their three-tired double jump rope was jaw-dropping, but the routine had a couple bobbles and it was very similar to every other routine they've done.

"America's Got Talent" revealed the results of the second semifinal competition, meaning we have the Top 12 heading into the two-week finale, where the Top 12 are pared down one more time before a winner is crowned.
The first group brought down for some results is Timber Brown, the Military Spouses Choir and Branden James, which Branden going through. That actually surprises us a little, we thought last night was his weakest performance so far.
Group 2 is Chicago Boyz and the Kristef Brothers, which we think means they're both through. And then they are! Good, they were both excellent last night.
The third group of results is between Marty Brown and Jimmy Rose, with Jimmy advancing. That's the right choice for us.
The fourth group is made up of Leon Etienne and Romy, John Wing and Kenichi Ebina. Clearly Kenichi is advancing out of this group (and he does), but that unfortunately...

We're getting down to the nitty gritty on America's Got Talent, with half of our pre-finale field already selected. Tonight, the remaining 12 acts will take to the stage to vie for a spot in the strange post-semifinals, pre-finals top 12 round.
It's way too difficult to even explain how there can be a round between the semifinals and finals, but the top 12 exists, so let's preview who has the best chance to join Innovative Force, Forte, Cami Bradley, Collins Key, Taylor Williamson and Catapult in said round.

This week’s round of semi-final cuts left six acts headed to the next round and six acts going home. Did your favorite(s) get a spot in the top 12?
America’s Got Talent is turning up the heat in the competition in the first round of semi-finals. The road to the top 12 is a tough one as six acts were sent home after the Aug. 27 performances. Some of our favorites were saved by America’s vote and some made their last appearance on the Radio City Music Hall stage. The Voice winner Cassadee Pope also performed her hit single “Wasting All These Tears.”
‘America’s Got Talent’ Aug. 28 Results:
Innovative Force, one hit wonder Tone Tha Chiefrocca, and juggling extraordinaire Red Panda were the first acts to face elimination. This one was a no brainer. There was no doubt that Innovative Force wouldn’t move on. America voted right on these young ladies.

Time to find out which six acts are advancing to the "America's Got Talent" Season 8 Top 12. We have a feeling after last night's performances that it will be heavy on the vocal acts, but let's see if we're right.
The first acts brought down are Tone the Chiefrocca, Red Panda and Innovative Force. The act that advances is Innovative Force, which is the correct choice out of those three acts, but we're surprised they advanced. Last night was good, but not as sharp as their previous performance.
The second group of acts is between Duo Resonance, Jonathan Allen and Forte. If there's only one act, we predict Forte. If there's two advancing, it'll be Jonathan and Forte. Forte gets through and then that's it. Not a huge surprise, Jonathan Allen on "Bring Him Home" last night was not his best performance.
The third spot is between Collins Key, Taylor Williamson and Angela Hoover.

It was the first night of semi-finals for 12 ‘America’s Got Talent’ acts on Aug. 27 and the competition is intensifying. The fight for the top spot is on!
Week after week, we were floored by incredible quarter-final performances on America’s Got Talent. The semi-finals have finally arrived and we couldn’t be more excited. There’s no room for error on the stage and the judges definitely took a criticism up a notch. Take a look at HollywoodLife.com’s top five favorite performance from the first 12 semi-finalists!

Flips and turns and flying! Oh my! These dancer-acrobat hybrids are crazy good. With their increasingly difficult stunts, these ladies are stepping it up each and every week. Their flexibility, agility, and ability to toss their teammates sky-high make for a heart-stopping performance. Howard Stern admired their bravery to perform such dangerous skills and thought they did an “amazing job.

We find out at the top of the "America's Got Talent" that the Kristef Brothers had a terrible accident during their rehearsal, sending one brother crashing to the floor on his head. This means that they are not performing this week but hopefully can perform next week.
This means that Red Panda, who had to withdraw before the quarterfinals due to a family emergency, is here this week as Howie's wild card pick.
So, which acts stood out for you?
We think the non-singing acts are going to have a hard time. We feel confident in saying that Dave Fenley, Cami Bradley and Forte will advance to the Top 12 and Jonathan Allen might sneak in there, which doesn't leave much room for other types of acts.
Angela Hoover and Taylor Williamson will definitely be battling for the comedy vote and we'd give the edge to Taylor. Those two will unfortunately...

Another week, another round of quarter-finalists competing for only four spots in the ‘America’s Got Talent’ semi-finals. Did your favorites get another week, or did they get cut?
America’s Got Talent continued to make headway toward the semi-finals with another round of cuts on the Aug. 14 episode. There were some no-brainers and some shockers, but we wouldn’t expect anything less from this hit show. The Backstreet Boys also stopped by to give a heart-stopping performance of their new single “In A World Like This,” as well as the epic throwback “I Want It That Way.”

The Week 4 results for "America's Got Talent" were nothing terribly surprising, but read on to find out if your favorites made it through.
The first three semifinalists revealed were singer Cami Bradley, singer Jimmy Rose and danger act Timber Brown. No big surprise there. Cami and Timber were the stand-outs and Jimmy was very popular with the audience (and also talented, though he wasn't our favorite of the night).
The final spot came down to Taylor Williamson versus Chloe Channell and the judges were split, the females for Chloe and the males for Taylor. But America voted Taylor through, so he was the fourth semifinalist.
Did the right acts advance? Tune in next week for the final set of semifinalists before we have the Top 20 of "Agt" Season 8.

Time for Week 4 of "America's Got Talent's" Season 8 live shows, which featured a couple very strong acts.
Just for the record, we weren't able to recap last week because of a work committment, but we were disappointed that illusionist Leon Etienne & Romy Low and comedian Jim Meskimen were eliminated. If there's a wild card show, we hope they come back. But good for Chicago Boyz and Jonathan Allen.
Anyway, on to tonight's acts. The stand-outs for us were Timber Brown and Cami Bradley. Brown is very talented and very Las Vegas. Bradley isn't so much Vegas, but she's a good singer and her rendition of "Do You Believe in Life After Love" was great.
The audience seemed to really like Taylor Williamson, though we didn't find him that funny. Jimmy Rose we're torn on -- the audience loved him and he got the pimp spot, but the actual tone...

We’re getting closer and closer to the semi-finals of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ and the Aug. 13 performances proved that the competition isn’t waning whatsoever.
Okay, we’ll admit it — we had no idea that there were still so many incredible acts left vying for spots in the semi-finals on America’s Got Talent. We've reached week four of America's Got Talent's five-week quarterfinal period, with another 12 acts performing. With three individual singers, a band and a choir slated to perform, it looks like musicians are in for a tough time distinguishing themselves tonight. On the other hand, comedian Taylor Williamson, easily the strongest comedian of the audition period, will stand out by default, but might have a tough time wrangling fans from the bigger, showier acts. I'll be live-blogging the proceedings right here.
