- Wolfgang Brandenstein was born on April 29, 1929 in Berlin, Germany. He was a writer and director, known for Die Rückseite des Mondes (1984), Don't Cheat, Darling! (1973) and Schlagerstudio (1970). He died on April 20, 2021 in Erkner, Brandenburg, Germany.
- He had his significant successes for the record label AMIGA as well as in the radio and television programs of the GDR.
