The wife of Roy Moore, the controversial Senate candidate who has been accused of sexual misconduct with minors when he was in his 30s, raised eyebrows on Monday evening when she argued against claims that the couple were anti-Semitic by noting that “one of our attorneys is a Jew.”
“Fake news would tell you that we don’t care for Jews. And I tell you all this because I’ve seen it, and I just want to set the record straight while they’re here,” Kayla Moore said at a rally in Midland City, Alabama, the night before the election.

Roy Moore spokeswoman Janet Porter came in for some tough questions from an unusual source — Fox News. Monday, the night before the Alabama special Senate election, anchor Martha Maccallum grilled Porter on her candidate’s insistence that he did not write an inscription in Beverly Young Nelson’s yearbook or sign it. Nelson, one of several women now accusing Moore of sexual misconduct, says the inscription and signature prove she knew Moore. He had said he has never met his accusers. “That yearbook was shown to be a fraud, for those who missed it, the woman who said that he signed it,...

With one day left until voters go to the polls in a high-profile Alabama Senate special election, Republican candidate Roy Moore and Democratic candidate Doug Jones are getting help from some big names: the current and former Presidents of the United States.
Former President Barack Obama has recorded a robocall for Jones, a source familiar with the Jones campaign told People, as has former Vice President Joe Biden. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has recorded a robocall for Moore.
The Jones campaign declined to release transcripts of the robocalls from Obama and Biden. CNN reported that, in the call, Obama says:...

People Explains: Who Is Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore — and Does He Still Have a Chance to Win?
Almost nothing about Roy Moore’s candidacy for Senate has been without controversy.
First, he challenged incumbent Luther Strange, who had been appointed to replace Jeff Sessions when he was tapped by President Donald Trump to serve as U.S. Attorney General. During the primary, he waved a gun at an election eve campaign rally, lacked support from the Republican establishment and has called Islam a “false religion.”
But none of that scared off Alabama voters on Sept. 26, who supported Moore in the Republican primary runoff for Sessions’ vacated Senate seat.
