Exclusive: Michael Madsen (Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood), Jaime King (Sin City) and Michael Milligan (Outer Banks) have wrapped roles opposite Tanner Beard in Blood Behind Us, a dramatic thriller from directors Brendan Gabriel Murphy (Fluxx) and Shaun Hart (The Fall).
Supporting cast for the Texas-shot indie includes Ramsey Krull (What Did Deborah Do), Katie Leclerc (Switched at Birth), Russell Quinn (Romantic Rewrite), Wally Welch (The Magnificent Seven), and Brook Sill (Stranger Things).
The story follows Johnny Philobosian (Beard), a former Army Ranger who after the Afghanistan War joins a motorcycle gang, causing him to spiral into a life of crime and addiction. Finally breaking away from the grips of the brutal gang, he turns on his crew, bringing down the entire organization.

The programme for Scotland’s newest event, Aberdeen International Film Festival, which will run for nine days from the 2nd of October to the 12th, was launched on Saturday, introducing a diverse selection of films not just from Scotland but from as far afield as Canada and Japan too.
Opening with A Curious Life, Dunstan Bruce’s documentary about the rise of the Levellers, and a pair of short films, Date and Please Check, the festival — overseen by creative director Peter Watt — will continue apace with up to six screenings a day across the city’s two Cineworld cinemas — Union Square and Queen’s Links. It will close the following Sunday with Tanner Beard and Russell Cummings’ 6 Bullets to Hell.
