Director David Rosenbaum created a really cool sci-fi short film that you've got to check out. It's called "The Trail's End," and it's basically a prologue to a sci-fi retelling of Bonnie and Clyde. It highlights the moment that the two main characters of the story meet and shows us how their journey together begins. The tagline used in the description is, "Sometimes the end, is just the beginning." Here's a synopsis:

What if Bonnie and Clyde was re-envisioned as a sci-fi? That's sort of the idea behind this mesmerizing new short film uploaded to Vimeo titled The Trail's End, from up-and-coming director David Rosenbaum. The short presents a sort of sci-fi prequel to Bonnie and Clyde, with androids going on the run from the law. It premiered at the La Shorts Fest, has some solid VFX work and sleek cinematography, not to mention an interesting premise playing on a classic story we all know. Rosenbaum is a commercials director and worked on VFX at Digital Domain. He'll definitely be getting jobs after debuting this. Take a look at The Trail's End.
