How would FX follow up its impressive list of guest stars for the first season of “What We Do in the Shadows”? By landing none other than Luke Skywalker.
During the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday, creator Jemaine Clement revealed that Mark Hamill would appear on the second season. “We have someone really good… One particularly huge one,” he said, before whispering: “Mark Hamill.”
But that’s all Clement would say. When he was asked a follow up as to what kind of character Hamill would be playing, he shook his head and said “no more.” But we know Hamill will be free, as he (presumably) played Skywalker for the final time in Disney’s “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.”

Paul Rubens, or as fans know him Pee-Wee Herman, has done plenty of very odd things in his long and storied career. Talking to a cow was part of a typical day for him. Some exploits were downright hilarious, while others were less than stellar. One thing remains true since the very beginning. From the moment Paul Rubens debuted as Pee Wee, he’s is one of the strangest characters ever to get a show (and several movies). Before we get to the latest and most bizarre Pee Wee exploit, standing in for the Joker, let’s take a look at some

It seems like every website in the Western hemisphere and a lot besides are regurgitating Netflix’s new press release about their original movie Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday. Not only is it not news that the film will be a Netflix premiere – that dates back to 2014 – it’s not even news that Wonder Showzen’s John Lee will be directing.
All credit to Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 for reporting these facts and many more besides over a month ago. It’s the extra info that’s really worth repeating.
As well as Pee-Wee Herman, who will of course be played by Paul Rubens as he has been for the last 34 years, there are several other key characters in the film. The ones we know about all seem to be female.

If you didn’t watch the first two episodes of Star Wars Rebels, there’s still time to correct your error. As the Berenstein Bears taught me when Brother didn’t do his homework and then tried to cut school, “It’s never too late to correct a mistake!” (That almost rhymes.) You should really be watching for a few reasons. First, it’s a good show on its own merits. It’s a fun action adventure series with interesting characters, set in a galactic time period we haven’t seen on screen before. Secondly, the show is going to set up a few things for Star Wars: Episode VII and also shares aesthetics with the new sequels. Third, the show is bringing back some of our favorite Star Wars things. The second episode, “Droids in Distress,” features R2-D2 and C-3Po, plus an homage to Disneyland’s Star Tours,...
