According to the combined predictions of “So You Think You Can Dance” fans who have made their forecasts here in our predictions center, Easton Magliarditi went into the top 10 of season 18 as the front-runner to win and as the fan-favorite who should claim the grand prize. He had some trouble in “Challenge #1: Music Videos,” though, so it might be surprising that leading up to tonight’s “Challenge #2: Broadway,” he’s still the man to beat according to our users. Check out our odds for tonight’s episode here, or scroll down to see our winner predictions.
Contemporary specialist Magliarditi has wowed the judges with his technical abilities on the show, but they thought he looked somewhat uncomfortable performing with a group. Meanwhile, choreographer Luther Brown observed that when he struggled with moves during rehearsals “he throws everything away.” He landed in the bottom four with Braylon Browner, Avery Gay and Olivia Alboher.

Feeling emotional about the imminent end of So You Think You Can Dance‘s 14th season? Well, Monday’s penultimate episode made it clear that you are not alone.
Only seven days remain until the Fox competition series crowns its newest champion, and at least one All-Star was feeling very sentimental during the performance finale. Just after she reprised her Top 9 contemporary routine with Kiki, Jenna Johnson burst into tears, revealing to Cat Deeley between sobs, “I’m just so sad… because I love dancing with him!”
Suffice to say, Monday’s broadcast was packed with similar nostalgia, as the...

On Monday night, choreographer Luther Brown created a hip-hop routine for “So You Think You Can Dance” frontrunner Lex Ishimoto and his all-star partner Gaby Diaz, and his goal was to “show their personalities even more … I think finally [Lex] is going to be able to show people how he has fun.” And that […]...

This week’s So You Think You Can Dance practically deserved its own post on Craigslist.
You were the All-Star wearing beige who kept gesticulating wildly with your arms… I was the Team Stage dancer trying to keep my head above water in a complicated routine… You were Medusa, and how the heck am I supposed to make that work?
Yes, I’m exaggerating a wee bit, and no, I am not Michael Slezak. (More on that in a moment.) But the gulf that existed between some of this season’s Top 8 and their All-Star partners was considerable as the week’s routines unfolded,...

The four finalists on "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 10 definitely went out with a bang in their final performances on Tuesday. Aaron, Amy, Fik-Shun and Jasmine all danced like true stars and gained rave reviews from the judges.
While the final voting numbers won't show up for another week, you can watch the final four perform again and offer your opinions here.
Each of the four finalists had a dance with an all-star.

Fik-Shun and tWitch's hip-hop routine (choreographed by Luther Brown)
Amy and Robert's contemporary routine (choreographed by Stacey Tookey)
In addition to these, all of the finalists also had three dances with each other.

Now, this is obviously the climax of So You Think You Can Dance‘s tenth season, and we’re all having a great time watching it like thriving gay Americans. Yes. Jasmine Harper? Is a tower of wonderful legs. Amy Yakima? Is a fountain of Christmas morning smiles. Aaron Turner? Is fine burliness. Fik-Shun? Is charming and robotized. We smile at the collective limberness and shake our butterscotch manes in disbelief like Mary Murphy. “Squawk, squawk, I love these dancers!” we hoot, waving our conductor hat from atop the sinister Hot Tamale locomotive on its way to Istanbul.
But you’ll have to forgive me. Because there’s a more important matter we have to discuss. Usually I’d reserve some space here to notify you that guest judge Gabby Douglas‘s criticisms were sweet but unnecessary, or that I miss the good ol’ days of Adam Shankman‘s guest-judging,...

It’s a mystery as perplexing as Mary Murphy’s mystical “gold leaf” upholstery dress, and as troubling as the sea of blank-eyed Nigel Lythgoe masks shown during the “National Dance Day” segment, but I feel oddly detached from Season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance (aka My Reliable Summer Reality Addiction).
Has it been one Sonya Tayeh relationship piece too many? Is it a case of runaway front-runners (Amy and Fik-Shun, obvi) who somehow seem above serious criticism — and beyond catching by their competitors? Do we need a Russian Folk Dance or some Disco or a Waacking exhibition to refuel the tank?...

Spoilers ahead. Two more dancers have left the competition after tonight’s performance show, which featured the exceedingly endearing Anna Kendrick as a guest judge. I’ll post my full recap of tonight’s performances later on; in the meantime, discuss!
Alexis Juliano and Curtis Holland have been eliminated. Curtis injured his shoulder during rehearsals this week, so that one was a given.
Jasmine Harper and Mackenzie Dustman landed in the bottom three for the girls, but only Alexis and Jasmine had to dance solos.
For the guys, Nico Greetham and Alan Bersten joined Curtis in the bottom three.

Spoilers ahead. Two more dancers have left the competition — at the end of the show, this time. (Our disgust re: last week’s format was “noted”!) I’ll post my recap of tonight’s performances later on; in the meantime, discuss!
Jasmine Mason has been eliminated, while Jade Zuberi had to bow out due to injury.
Alexis Juliano and Jenna Johnson also had to dance for their lives, while bottom-three guys BluPrint and Curtis were automatically safe because Jade was already out.

In the first time in Sytycd history, two ballet dancers take top honors!
In the closest race ever to be America’s favorite dancers, we were in such suspense to find out the answer. I had no idea how America was going to vote, especially since Tiffany and Cyrus were never in danger the entire season. So it took me by surprise who came out on top.
I stayed in my dressing room the night before. That’s right – I whipped out my blow-up bed and reflected on the whole season and which dances were highlights for me! I tried...

We’ve reached that point in the So You Think You Can Dance season where every cut is painful, where any negative critique becomes a larger harbinger of impending doom. It’s times like this when we need a guest judge like Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a guy who’s clearly a fan of the show and of every dancer on the stage, and a man whose lightning quick wit provides a much-needed counterbalance to the sting of losing absolutely terrific competitors like Lindsay and Will.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson — “weird and creepy and not a stalker,” he swears — just loves to come back and be a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance. The Modern Family star invented the Hot Jalapeno Bus (a new friend for Mary Murphy’s Hot Tamale Train), and poignantly called out Will’s personal-story junket (“Dance saved my life…”) as a reason why arts programs are so important to schools. He is, quite simply, the best.
