Arrow Season 1, Episode 21 ‘The Undertaking’
Directed by Michael Shultz
Written by Jake Coburn & Lana Cho
Airs Wednesday nights at 8pm Et on The CW
Often, I find myself thinking about shows that would be better served with shorter seasons, both past and present. Would Lost not have gone down so many rabbit holes with 30 less episodes? Would The Killing be my mortal enemy had it not been provided the opportunity to mislead people for 24 and a half episodes? I suppose the answer is subjective, but episodes like ‘The Undertaking’ make Arrow a very interesting case for a shorter, less network-friendly season length, where there couldn’t be all these goofy bad guys and weekly misdirections and vagueries to superficially extend dramatic tensions.
First of all, there’s not a single moment spent on that damn island in ‘The Undertaking’, which alone is a blessing from the television gods. Nothing says...

What is the CW’s highest rated series? You know it, comic book fans. It’s Arrow! When a show succeeds this way there are a lot of things coming together beautifully at once, but one part of the recipe is excellent casting. We are intrigued to announce that actor Chin Han has just joined the show that is based upon DC comics material.
Han’s credits include The Dark Knight and Contagion. Who will he play? We’re so glad you asked. According to Deadline, Han will act as Frank Chen, a well to do businessman and lifelong friend to the Queen family. Here comes the intriguing part. Chen is involved in “The Undertaking”, a real cloak and dagger group, which is led by Malcolm Merlyn, Tommy’s father. Malcolm is played by guest star John Barrowman. The elder Meryln also has an alter ego. Yes, he is the mysterious Dark Archer.

"The Killing" cast for Season 3 is growing and the latest addition is Max Fowler, TVLine reports.
The up-and-coming actor -- who's appeared on BBC America's "The Hour" -- will play Twitch on "The Killing." According to The Hollywood Reporter, the character is "his own biggest fan," sexually fluid, and "has been in trouble with the law since he was 10, having been arrested for prostitution, drug possession, trespassing and the like, but he always charmed his way out of it."
The unexpected third season of "The Killing" -- considering the AMC drama was canceled just months earlier -- will pick up a year after the Season 2 ended, according to AMC. Season 3 will focus on a mystery that will be resolved over the course of the season, unlike the controversial case of "Who killed Rosie Larsen?" When the Season 1 finale of "The Killing" failed to reveal who killed Rosie, viewers fled...

Danielle Campbell (Prison Break) is the latest new regular cast in the potential Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals, which will be introduced in the April 25 episode of the CW drama.
