Kelvin formed his production company Paper Street Pictures in 2007, the name of the company comes from the "Paper Street Soap Company" from the film Fight Club (1999).

During his childhood, Kelvin wanted to be a special effects make up artist until the age of 12 when he watched Jurassic Park (1993).
