Hugo Bergson-Vuillaume has been an executive in the entertainment business for over 25 years. He served as President of the international distribution at Gaumont for many years before running President Films, a subsidiary company of France Televisions.
He is the founder and CEO of Black Mask Productions since 2003.
In France, the company has produced "Au Nom de ma Fille" with Daniel Auteuil (in Co-production with Studiocanal) and "Coursier" (2010) with Michael Youn (in Co-production with Europacorp). The company is currently developing the thriller Runners (in Co-production with SND and Radar Films) and a few TV Series in Co-production with Malberg Pictures (Remy Jacquelin).
In the US, the company has partnered with Lion Rock Productions (John Woo & Terence Chang) from 2003 to 2013. Black Mask Productions is currently developing MAX in Co-production with Cartel (Antoine Fuqua & Kat Samick) and Systeme D Entertainment (Tommy Suh).
Hugo Bergson-Vuillaume and the Canadian producer Christian Larouche have recently started a new production company (Opale Productions) which is currently developing several projects including a family movie with the actor turned director Clovis Cornillac.
