Award winning author and screenwriter, tammy creates gritty, redeeming, queer-centric stories where "every character is so alive, you swear you hear them breathing." Her novel, *Sugar Land*, won an IPPY, was shortlisted for the Crook's Corner Prize, a finalist for a Forewords Indie Award, an Amazon #1 Bestseller, made the Advocate's Best of 2018, was a Top Five for 2018 by Powell's booksellers, starred by Kirkus Reviews, and called "writing at its finest" by the New York Journal of Books. The pilot for the TV series has been a Finalist in Portland, New York, Atlanta, Reno-Tahoe, and Seattle Intl Film Fests, among other nods, and the short film showcased at the American Pavilion at the Cannes 2023 Intl Film Festival.
tammy had several shorts go to festival/web series, and wrote "Dottie's Magic Pockets", the first kids show for children in queer-headed families and their friends, which played at a 15 international film festivals, including Melbourne, Toronto, Paris, SF's Frameline, and LA's OUTfest. It was twice a Cool Moms Pick and was performed on two R Family (Rosie O'Donnell) cruises, among other nice bits.
