You’re in a Topshop changing room, and you can hear angry mutters from the girl in the room next to you.
“Urgh, why are my boobs…just…so…huge? Charlene, I Need You To Get Me A Size 14, This Top Isn’T Going Over My Massive Tits!”
You glance down at your own breasts, which look much like tiny fried eggs under that non-padded bra you’re wearing, and for once, actually feel pretty pleased that you don’t have to deal with having humungous bazoomas. You can always get into that dress you want (although granted, it’s often very baggy in the chestal region).
Still, it’s not always fun being a flat-chested girl. You’re sure you’re ID’d more than the average person, you have been mistaken for a thirteen year old boy at a swimming pool on more than one occasion, and...

Generally, I am not a fan of musicals, on film or stage. Those that I do enjoy rely on farce and/or transgressive themes to keep me entertained. With the recent surge in “horror movies turned musicals,” (i.e. Evil Dead and Re-Animator) the fear is that they will lose their transgressive-ness and novelty. There is no worry of that with Silence! The Musical.
Silence! The Musical is the song-and-dance version of Silence of the Lambs. Following the 1991 film very closely, the play sees FBI trainee Clarice Starling brought in to work with cannibalistic sociopath, Dr. Hannibal Lecter in tracking down psychopath-at-large Buffalo Bill. Sounds like the perfect setting for hilarity, doesn’t it? Well it is. Christine Lakin’s Clarice is dead-on, mastering Jodie Foster’s slurred drawl and wide-eyed faux-naiveté. It would have been funny had it not been so true. Davis Gaines’s Hannibal Lecter has a...

Ven is turning into quite the controversial contestant on "Project Runway" (Thu., 9 p.m. Et on Lifetime). While all of his fellow contestants were excited for the chance to work with regular everyday women during the "real people" challenge, Ven couldn't stop complaining.
He harped on and on about how unfair it was that he was saddled with a plus-sized model. She was -- gasp! -- a Size 14! It was a case of the pot calling the kettle black, though, as Ven was even bigger than his model. Still, he wasn't designing for his own body size, and didn't seem interested in designing for anything other than models.
It showed in his final product, as he was chastised for failing to improve the look of his "real" model with her makeover. What's more, he was told that despite his trying to lay the bulk of the blame on the woman he was working with,...

London, May 23: Size 14 beauty Candice Huffine bared all in a nude photoshoot for a Spanish magazine as the industry attempts to do away with skinny models.
After flaunting her curves of Vogue Italia's 'Real Beauties' issue last July, Huffine is now the star of Spain's S Moda.
Wearing nothing but heels and a diamante choker the 27-year-old's appearance comes weeks after Vogue launched a campaign to ban the use of ultra-thin models, the Daily Mail reported.
The Maryland native, who claims she doesn't "exercise because I travel.

Actor kicks off further debate on the size issue by endorsing larger models in magazine's French version
In the heady world of high fashion, few issues have ruffled feathers as much in recent months as that of size. And now further fuel has been added to the debate about the use of larger models thanks to an edition of Vogue edited by the actor Penelope Cruz.
Cruz was chosen to edit the French edition of the title and has promptly waded in with a provocative shoot that stars the size 12 model Crystal Renn in photographs styled by the magazine's influential editor, Carine Roitfeld.
Cruz's intervention comes at a key moment within the industry for models with body shapes more akin to those of the majority of women. Last month, a special "curvy" edition of French Elle lavished praise on cover girl Tara Lynn's "adorable belly fat".
And two months ago a Louis Vuitton show,...
