Bill O'Reilly won't be collecting $10 million from Michael Klar, the attorney who once represented ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy in a bitter divorce.
The former Fox News star alleged in a lawsuit that Klar had aided and abetted McPhilmy in fraudulently inducing O'Reilly to enter into a separation agreement back in 2010. According to O'Reilly, his ex-wife made misrepresentations regarding her intent to comply with the terms of the separation agreement. A New York judge allowed the case to proceed over Klar's arguments, which O'Reilly forced to be kept hush-hush.

Bill O’Reilly requested a gag order on his ex-wife and children in his divorce trial, court documents reveal. O’Reilly, who’s appealed a court decision granting his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy sole custody of their two children, requested a gag order in April seeking restricted press access to the case and barring the involved parties from discussing the case with reporters. The Nassau County Supreme Court wrote about the gag order in June, which called for “prohibiting the parties and anyone acting on their behalf from divulging to the public and media/press any information pertaining to this case.

Bill O'Reilly's divorce from his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy got so ugly, he tried to have her booted from the Catholic Church, Gawker reports.
O'Reilly and McPhilmy split on April 2, 2010 and divorced on Sept. 1, 2011. The couple agreed to share custody of their two children, but only a month after they divorced, they were back in court after McPhilmy that learned O'Reilly had hired the neutral therapist as part of household staff, according to documents obtained by Gawker.

Gawker is making some interesting assertions regarding TV pundit Bill O'Reilly's divorce and custody proceedings between himself and ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy.
The two separated in 2010 and McPhilmy subsequently began seeing a Nassau County detective, to whom she is now married. The real battle has begun over custody of the former couple's two children, ages 10 and 13, though Gawker alleges McPhilmy is also being chastised by the Catholic church.
According to documents obtained by Gawker where the parties are listed as "Anonymous 1" and "Anonymous 2," which Gawker says are documents about the O'Reilly custody battle, the documents say that a woman was appointed by the court to be a neutral mediator in the custody case, but that O'Reilly allegedly began employing the court-appointed arbiter as a member of his household staff -- essentially making her a nanny to his children and paying her a six-figure salary.
