Pro wrestling legend Kevin Nash says his knee is finally fixed after surgery -- but you wouldn't know it looking at this Gnarly photo of the aftermath. Nash just revealed that he went under the knife to replace a bum knee that's been bothering him for 33 years -- and what's left of it looks like something straight outta the "Saw" movies. We counted 24 staples ... plus severe bulging that made us question if it was actually a knee.

Dear Ashish
I'm not a TV person, so I miss most of the goings-on, on television; dance shows, reality shows, even news shows! The little that I watch is concentrated on sports and whatever my kids are watching on cartoon channels.
So it was rather late that I read that you had won the sixth season of a reality television show that includes dare-devilry. Congratulations on winning.
And it was not the publicity campaign or media blitz of the television channel (I guess there was none) through which the news reached me but through your wife Samita. She was furiously updating your exploits and deserved win on social media! I guess, no campaign can beat a wife's 'full-throttle' campaign.
As a father of three children, I did not expect you to take such risks. But you did, and you came up trumps. Anything could have happened. But then again, you...

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Big Daddy Cool has had a remarkable career. Kevin Nash’s name is synonymous with controversy, even as recently as last month when his name made headlines in mainstream media for an arrest related to a family dispute. Over the course of his career, Big Sexy has been called many unflattering names for various reasons by small-minded wrestling fans and bitter wrestlers alike.
But one name he should be called is “Hall of Famer.”
The former WWE Champion and five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion may have his detractors, but there is no question that he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame beside many of the legends who have already been immortalised with the honor. The combination of being an intelligent and charismatic individual has allowed Nash to forge a prominent place in the wrestling business that has endured for over twenty years.

Kevin Nash is one of the most well known big man wrestlers in the history of American wrestler. He had a short career in WCW in the early 1990s before moving on to WWE as a bodyguard of Shawn Michaels named Diesel. Within a couple of years he was a top guy in WWE after winning the WWE Title from Bob Backlund on November 26, 1994 in eight seconds.
His original WWE career ended in May of 1996 due to a lucrative contract that he signed with World Championship Wrestling. It was a game changer because he was part of the New World Order stable that was booked to make it look like they were WWE guys there to legitimately take over WCW. He became a key performer in WCW until the company died in March of 2002.

Never Mind the Baubles features footage of benefit gig – and final UK show – band played for children of striking firefighters
Johnny Rotten handed out badges, posters and other Sex Pistols-branded goodies. Teens and young children hit the dancefloor with Sid Vicious to boogie to pop hits such as Baccara's Yes Sir, I Can Boogie and (yes, really) Daddy Cool by Boney M. Then Rotten leapt into a giant Christmas cake and the band and audience smeared each other with food.
The Sex Pistols' last UK gig – a benefit for the children of striking firefighters at Ivanhoe's nightclub in Huddersfield on Christmas Day 1977 – remains their most implausible. However, almost 36 years to the day later, this surreal milestone is landing on our screens via Never Mind the Baubles: Xmas '77 With the Pistols, to be shown on BBC4 on Boxing Day at 10pm.

Memory lane has a special place for our firsts. Each of them represents an age, an era and an experience. From my first tooth to my first bruise, my first day at school to my first belly flop into the pool, they are all there. Some are protected by a forgetful mind but they are there. They make the identity we create in life. For example, a part of my identity is Bollyspice. Like all the writers here at Bollyspice. How does this link to the title? Well, Bollywood’s love affair with first loves and the release of Bombay Talkies is what prompted the title of this piece actually. You see, it’s just like our writer Pooja Rao said in her review of Bombay Talkies, cinema doesn’t just affect the lives of those involved, it affects its audience too. So the writers at Bollyspice bring to you our Pehla Nasha,...

One of the most anticipated releases of 2013 is Kapil Sharma’s “I, Me aur Main” starring John Abraham, Chitrangada Singh, and Prachi Desai in the lead. Bollywood loves a “man-child coming of age story” and this time it’s Abraham who has to learn of true love from the many women that he’s upset and taken for granted, through his resourceful neighbour Desai. The music is a mixed bag of tracks from four different music directors, Sachin and Jigar, Falak Shabir, Gaurav Dasgupta, and Raghav Sachar. This makes for an interesting album in comparing the varying styles where the results vary.
Starting off with a remake of the Chalbaaz hit, Naa Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, but to suit the sexy boy of the film and it’s completely addictive. Starting with the iconic melody and launching into the English verses, Sachin and Jigar’s track manages to pep...

The dust is beginning to settle now that the Royal Rumble has concluded, and the fallout is beginning to make itself known. Though not among the best Rumble pay-per-views of all time, it was a sure improvement over last year’s, and was on the whole relatively solid. Like any WWE PPV, however, it had its share of ups and downs; for every awesome moment, there was just one that flat-out sucked, and as all long-time WWE fans know, these events are largely an exercise in tempering your expectations.
Here are 5 awesome moments and 5 that sucked from this year’s Royal Rumble event…

One of Australia's most popular local films, Red Dog, could be reinvented as a stage show, a documentary and a TV show.
The film's producer, Nelson Woss, told local media that he was in talks with a well-known producer to bring the story about the Pilbara region's famous kelpie to the stage, featuring music from the film's soundtrack.
"What's quite nice about Red Dog now is that it's expanding into other areas," Woss told Perth's The Sunday Times.
If the film makes it to the stage, it would follow in the footsteps of another popular Australian film, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, which was first adapted for the stage in 2006 in Sydney before heading to London in 2009 and New York in 2010-11.

According to Big Daddy Cool, Triple H provided him with tickets to SummerSlam. Then, before the main event, The Game texted his friend asking him to “stick” the winner, no matter who it was. “When a friend asks me to do something, I do it… What I did last night Cm Punk was business.” – Nash However, Nash then said that Hhh would not own up to his “business” request. Cm Punk was not happy with Nash’s testimony and showed up in the ring. He then sarcastically told Nash that if Hhh told Nash to jump off a bridge, it would be good for business. While not quite a household name in the United States, Germany-based 1970s disco group Boney M were chart-toppers in Europe in their prime. And their music was immensely popular in my home while growing up in Nigeria. The original members of the group were Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett from Jamaica, Maizie Williams from Montserrat, and lead singer, Bobby Farrell from Aruba. They disbanded in 1986 after big hits like Daddy Cool, Rasputin, and By the Rivers Of Babylon.

Boney M star Bobby Farrell has died at the age of 61. The singer, who was on tour in Russia, was found dead in his hotel room in St. Petersburg on Thursday, December 30 morning. Farrell's body was reportedly discovered by hotel staff after he failed to respond to a wake-up call.
The pop star's agent, John Seine, tells Afp, "(Farrell) was found dead in his bed... The cause of death is not known... He was not feeling well (on Wednesday night)... Amsterdam — Bobby Farrell, whose group Boney M topped the 1970s European charts with its glittering showmanship and blend of disco and Calypso music, was found dead in his hotel bed Thursday while on tour in Russia, his agent said. He was 61.
The frontman appeared as scheduled in St. Petersburg Wednesday night, but complained of breathing problems before and after his show, said the agent, John Seine.
The group had 38 top 10 hits, including 15 number ones in Germany. They included "Brown Girl in the Ring" and "Mary's Boychild." Their version of "By the Rivers of Babylon" sold nearly 2 million records in Britain alone, keeping it No. 1 for five weeks in 1978.
The same year, Boney M became the first Western music group invited by a Soviet leader, Leonid Brezhnev, to perform in the Soviet Union. A Soviet military plane flew the performers from London to Moscow, where they sang for an audience of 2,700 Russians in Red Square.

Big Brother housemate John James Parton has told Sunshine Martyn that he will be calling her by her real name, Yvette, from now on.
As the group jokingly dubbed the medical student ‘Scumshine’ and ‘Scumscream’, John James asked her why she hadn’t yet legally changed her name.
“Because I had a holiday booked,” Sunshine replied.
“What in the bluest of blue hells does that have to do with anything?” John James questioned.
“Alright, I’ll call you Yvette until you explain to me why you haven’t changed it,” John James told her. “I will still call you Sunshine if you call me ‘Great One’.”

Pooja hadn’t acted in many Tamil films and yet remains as a favorite heartthrob of various masses. As in reality, the actress had whole lot of boyfriends during college days, which again was revealed by her college senior Shaam during a reality show.
Now the actress has got serious about her marriage as she wants to settle down with family life. Though there are more rumors about her getting married with a Sri Lankan businessman, her closer sources have denied them as a baseless rumor.
According to the closer circuit, her dad has been pressurizing his daughter to get married soon. Of course, she has accepted to heed for dad’s plans, but on one condition. The guy shouldn’t be addicted to any bad habits. She has also ordered her father to get her married by this June or else must not disturb her for next couple of years.

Sylvester Stallone has been nominated for 29 Razzie awards, dishonoring his career as an actor, director and screenwriter. Of those, he's "won" ten, including Worst Actor of the Decade (1980s) and Worst Actor of the Century (20th). Now he's expanding his reach to Indian cinema, having appeared as himself in a recent Bollywood production titled "Kambakkht Ishq" (aka "Incredible Love" or "Damn Love"), which has earned eight nominations, including one for Worst Film, for that film industry's equivalent of the Razzies, the Golden Kela Awards.
Also appearing in the same film, about an Indian stuntman in Hollywood, is Denise Richards, who received a Worst Supporting Actress Razzie for "The World is Not Enough" (she was also nominated with Pierce Brosnan for Worst Screen Couple after that James Bond installment). It would seem the two Razzie vets are mucking things up in Bollywood now. Together, they are nominated for something called the...

The U.K. dark comedy Death at a Funeral is just two years old but already it has a remake -- actually two, if you want to count the Bollywood version Daddy Cool. The new Death at a Funeral, starring Chris Rock, keeps the title and general gist of the film -- a patriarch dies prompting secrets and shenanigans to break out during his funeral -- but trades the wry, and sometimes absurdist, British humor for more slapstick and broad comedy. That's not to say that the new version is bad, just that it's different. Also different? The all-white cast has been switched out for a mostly-black cast composed of notable names like Tracy Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Martin Lawrence, Columbus Short, and Danny Glover. Luke Wilson and James Marsden also make appearances with Marsden notably taking over the part played by Joss-Whedon-favorite Alan Tudyk in the original film. Check out...

There has been a deluge of films released in the last weeks, but none could prove their mettle and emerge as a winner. Quick Gun Murugan, Chintuji and Daddy Cool stood out, because of no alternative options. With so many films chocking the multiplex this week, yet again it will be a quality-less wholesale filmy Friday. Let’s have a look over these films and see whether things have a potential to improve.
Aamras: Expectations are bound to come with this film. Why? Firstly, Aamras marks the debut venture of Rupali Guha; the daughter of great filmmaker Basu Chatterjee, as a director. So, will this film live up to the expectations? Well, not even a single star to back the film becomes its major drawback. And what compounds to the misery.

While last two weeks' Hindi film releases have failed to generate moolah at the box office, this week again relatively small films like Baabarr, Aamras and Ruslaan are up for release. However, all eyes are now on the Eid weekend wherein Salman Khan's Wanted is slated to release along with Shahid Kapur – Rani Mukerji starrer Dil Bole Hadippa. These two movies are likely to get a good opening with the culmination of the holy period of Ramadan. Recent movies like Aage Se Right, Chintuji, Daddy Cool, Kissan and Yeh Mera India have not been received well by the ...

In Bollywood, it is a rare occasion to see more than 2-3 mainstream films releasing on the same weekend. Yes, there have been instances when multiple films have arrived on the same day, but such a situation is far and few and is generally avoided. This is why one could have allowed it all to be an exceptional case when Daddy Cool, Toss, Kisaan, Quick Gun Murugan, Love Khichdi and Yeh Mera India released over the Friday gone by.
It’s a different matter though that none of the films, except for Quick Gun Murugan to an extent, did respectable business at the box office. However, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!
Believe it or not, but the situation is going to be repeated next week too with the arrival of six more films.
Though.

It seems that the Indian film industry is indeed on a record making spree as far as number of films releasing on a day is concerned. Today seven films have been released and it indeed is a record of sorts. The films vying for eyeballs include Daddy Cool, Yeh Mera India, The Taking Of Pelham 123, Race To Witch Mountain, Quick Gun Murugan, Love Khichdi and Kisaan. Now let's do some mathematics, each film would have the average span of 100 minutes and so a critic has to spend 700 minutes viewing these films, i.e. he has to...
