The news about a potential Call of Duty film first surfaced in 2015 when Activision Blizzard launched a production studio called Activision Blizzard Studios. Many sources confirmed at the time that the motion picture production company was working on a live-action movie based on the Call of Duty video game franchise. However, the production was shut down in 2020 as the movie was not the studios’ priority.

It’s been four years since the last announcement but many fans on social media are positive that Activision Blizzard will soon announce the movie. Last year, there were many debates over the film’s cast and a petition was filed that demanded that the film features actors from the game itself. The petition faced criticism as there have been rumors about Henry Cavill and Jensen Ackles joining the project.

The Boys Season 4 is one of the most awaited releases on Prime Video. It’s expected to be the most intense part of the series yet. The last season finished in 2022. Then, in 2023, a new series called Gen V was released to connect the story until Season 4. Now, Season 4 is getting ready to answer any questions, and seems like it will be a crucial part of The Boys’ story.
It might bring big changes for Hughie and Butcher, but not necessarily good ones. In the previous season, Butcher and Hughie gained superpowers from Temp-v, Homelander became even more unstable, and Soldier Boy seemingly died. The ending hinted at what’s to come in Season 4.
Homelander is now taking care of his son Ryan, and it looks like he’s teaching him to be violent. With the story reaching even higher stakes, fans are eagerly waiting for Season 4 to hit Amazon Prime Video.

Prime’s The Boys has gained immense love and appeal from its fans, as it has shown a refreshing take on superheroes, which goes beyond themes like nobility and selflessness. The series showcases a darker side of heroism and how individuals would act if they had superpowers. With relevant themes and equally dark humor, the show is definitely a fan favorite.

Needless to say, the fans were excited when the 4th season was announced. However, none of the fans were ready for the renewal of 5th season. However, it was not too surprising as the franchise’s most renowned spin-off, Gen V was renewed for a 2nd season as well. The fans of the twisted TV Series were hyped and jumping with excitement as they tweeted on social media.

It’s been a long hiatus for The Boys, but we finally have some clarity on when the Prime Video hit will be back on the air.
Hint: It’s soon!
After months of teases, the streaming service revealed Thursday that The Boys Season 4 will premiere Thursday, June 13.
We’re getting a three-episode drop, followed by one new episode weekly until the season finale on Thursday, July 18.
After so long off the air, we’d have liked all eight episodes on the premiere date, but the cadence isn’t that bad.
The world is in a different place when the R-rated superhero drama returns, with the streaming service describing it as “on the brink.”
Homelander and Victoria’s team-up could spell doom
Victoria’s (Claudia Doumit) pursuit of the Oval Office continues, and given her close association with Homelander (Antony Starr), it can only mean bad things for the good guys.

Writer-director Daniel Brown’s Your Lucky Day offers a twist-laden take on the hostage crisis film. Set almost entirely within a convenience store, the story revolves around a $156 million-winning lottery ticket and how it triggers a bloody series of events. A young drug dealer, Sterling (the late Angus Cloud), pounces on the opportunity and robs the unlucky winner right before a policeman emerges from the bathroom. Faced with too many loose ends to simply leave and collect the money, Sterling opts to cut in the witnesses that he initially takes as hostages, as long as they help him cover up his crimes.
For a thriller, Your Lucky Day’s atmosphere is oddly and refreshingly relaxed. For one, the characters don’t need much convincing when it comes to going with Sterling’s plan. Some, like the pregnant Ana Marlene (Jessica Garza), even prove quite adept at scheming as they puzzle...

"This could be our chance at a better life..." Well Go USA has revealed an official trailer for an indie thriller titled Your Lucky Day, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Dan Brown (not the author). This just premiered at Fantastic Fest a few weeks ago, and it's opening in November. After a dispute over a winning lottery ticket turns into a deadly hostage situation, the witnesses must decide exactly how far they’ll go—and how much blood they’re willing to spill—for a cut of the $156 million prize. Greed and desperation rules America. Ff describes it as "pressure cooker of a morality tale. Effortlessly charismatic, with a canny ability to telegraph the contradictory emotions & restless impulses of marginalized characters, Your Lucky Day marks one of the final performances of the unique young talent whose life was tragically cut short in July of this year." The film...

Before Angus Cloud’s death at age 25 in late July, the Euphoria actor completed work on Daniel Brown’s Your Lucky Day, an intense-looking thriller featuring Cloud as a trivial criminal whose plan to steal a winning lottery ticket spirals out of control. In the Your Lucky Day trailer, Brown depicts how a split decision to seize an opportunity to change your future can turn deadly.
In the promo, Cloud’s desperate character, Sterling, spontaneously decides to rob a lottery winner at a local convenience store. As the conflict intensifies and push comes to shove, Sterling does the unthinkable by killing a rookie cop, landing himself in a position to take hostages or risk incarceration. With $156 million on the line, Sterling and the survivors of the incident enter a pack to split the money after covering Sterling’s tracks. “Nobody ever got rich without doing no crime,” Sterling says in...

Angus Cloud is appearing onscreen for one of the last times in heist movie “Your Lucky Day.”
The “Euphoria” star, who died at age 25 in July 2023, leads writer-director-actor Daniel Brown’s feature directorial debut. Cloud plays drug dealer Sterling, who holds a convenience store hostage after he witnesses an older wealthy man win a $156 million lottery. Jessica Garza, Elliot Knight, and Mousa Hussein Kraish play witnesses, with Sterling Beaumon cast as a cop. The film is adapted from writer Brown’s 2010 short film of the same name, with Rider Strong in the role of Sterling.
“I had written the character based on people I had grown up with: guys who sold drugs and would start fights with frat boys or their stepdads, but who were also super protective and loyal to their friends,” Brown told Entertainment Weekly. “[Cloud’s] stories and outlook were so right on for the character, I just had to go for it.

The cop tries to stop the robbery, he shoots first — accidentally killing the wealthy man. In the ensuing confusion, the criminal takes out the cop. Before his death at age 25 in late July, Angus Cloud — known for playing Fezco on the hit HBO series Euphoria for two seasons — finished filming a star turn in writer-director Dan Brown’s thriller Your Lucky Day.
The trailer for Brown’s lotto-win hostage flick, which dropped on Friday, reveals Cloud as Sterling, a petty criminal-turned-hostage taker in one of his final film performances. In Your Lucky Day, a dispute over a $156 million winning Megaball Jackpot lottery ticket has a masked and hooded Sterling launching a deadly hostage situation in a small convenience store on Christmas Eve that leads to a rookie cop being shot and the winning ticket holder killed by gunfire.

“America doesn’t care how you get your money.” That line serves as a bleak thesis statement for “Your Lucky Day.” The feature debut from writer-director Dan Brown proceeds from the assumption that in America, nothing — not family, not integrity, not your personal safety or the safety of others — is more important than getting rich. And once you are rich, nothing else matters, including how you got that way. You can pay for lawyers to take care of all that, as sensitive stickup kid Sterling (Angus Cloud) tells his hostages early on in the film.

Writer/Director Dan Brown’s feature debut, Your Lucky Day, elevates a simple concept with palpable tension and intense confrontations. A convenience store at Christmastime transforms into a harrowing battleground when a winning lotto ticket emerges, creating an intense thriller filled with surprise escalations and propulsive action. It’s not just the narrative turns and bleak authenticity that makes Your Lucky Day winsome, but the Christmas caper’s daring commitment to nihilism.
An average night becomes anything but for six strangers at a convenience store around Christmas. A criminal, Sterling (Angus Cloud), arrives at the store in a foul mood, having just lost valuables to thieves. When a wealthy man discovers he’s just won the $156 million jackpot, Sterling holds him at gunpoint. Rookie cop Cody (Sterling Beaumon) attempts to intervene but botches it so spectacularly that it winds up becoming a lethal hostage standoff that also traps the store’s owner,...

If you can’t take it with you when you go, then where does it end up?
Daniel Brown thought a lot about this before making his upcoming film “Your Lucky Day,” which tells the ironic story of a man who wins the lottery but dies shortly after finding out his numbers hit. First created as short in 2010 starring Rider Strong, the story takes place one Christmas Eve at a corner store called Sip ‘n’ Go, where a white-haired boomer-aged wealthy man wearing a tie stops to scan his lotto tickets. After making brief and somewhat bigoted small talk with the store’s owner Amir (Mousa Hussien Kraish), the machine plays a little jingle, “Winner!! Winner!!” appears on the tiny screen. “What’s the total up to?” the man asks Amir. “$156 million.”

Your Lucky Day, the horror thriller featuring one of the final performances of Euphoria breakout Angus Cloud, has secured a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement for publicity ahead of its Fantastic Fest premiere, Deadline has learned.
As with all projects under agreements of this sort — Michael Mann’s Ferrari and the Sean Penn-Dakota Johnson starrer Daddio being just two other prominent examples — we’ll have to wait and see who will, in fact, agree to participate in promotional activities amidst the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. A prominent genre festival based in Austin, TX, Fantastic Fest takes place this year from September 21-28.
Dying of an undisclosed cause on July 31st, at his family home in Oakland, CA, aged 25, Cloud’s co-stars in Your Lucky Day included Jessica Garza, Elliot Knight, Jason O’Mara, Spencer Garrett, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Jason Wiles and Sebastian Sozzi.

Much of The Boys season 4 is still being kept under wraps. But a few details have come out about the series’ next chapter that have only intensified the hype. According to Variety, it was announced last year that Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward would be added to the cast. The two will be playing Supes Firecracker and Sister Sage respectfully, and according to the showrunner, they’ll fit right in with The Boys’ chaotic universe.
“These new Supes are some of the best & craziest ever written for The Boys,” showrunner Eric Kripke once said according to Games Radar.

“My attorney has filed criminal complaints of Libel and Harassment on my behalf, in France, against Tracy Robertson, aka ‘Scarlett Amaris’, a screenwriter and fantasist who launched a vicious attack on my career and reputation on March 16, 2021,” Stanley said.

He added that he was confident in the outcome of his legal proceeding, and said his reputation would be vindicated by the evidence he would present.
