Potential audiences can give a new show a quick opening binge right away rather than only viewing the always tricky pilot to prove that it’s worthy of being added to their viewing schedule. The Order is definitely a supernatural show that stands alongside The Magicians or The Vampire Diaries, but the true twist to the witches versus werewolves premise doesn’t show up until third episode. We don't have to wonder whether the Pure TV show will be cancelled or renewed for season two on Wgn America. Originally a CBC and Hulu TV series, Wgna and Super Channel partnered with those networks to produce a second season of Pure that would originate on their stations. In the meantime, Wgna is running the first season of Pure, before debuting season two later this year. Will the American audience tune in, or have most interested viewers already streamed it on Hulu?
