Over a year ago Netflix announced at San Diego Comic-Con that The Toys That Made Us documentary series was picked up for a third season. We haven’t had many updates on the series since then, but it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer for Season 3 to drop!
Series creator Brian Volk-Weiss announced that the series would return on November 15th, 2019. He released a video making the announcement and it included a little cameo by Walter Jones, the actor who played Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
The Toys That Made Us debuted in 2017 and has eight episodes have aired so far. They’ve covered toy properties for Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, Transformers, Lego, and Hello Kitty thus far. Season 3 will cover Power Rangers, Wrestling, My Little Pony, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

With Black Panther being a hot topic of discussion among fans right now, I thought you'd all enjoy a fun fan-made trailer. This is a Power Rangers trailer that focuses on the Black Ranger and it was made in the style of the Black Panther trailer. The trailer was created by Darth Blender and he did a great job splicing it together. This is the description that came along with the video:
"Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger, has returned to Angel Grove to lead the Power Rangers, but his leadership position will be challenged by the Black Psycho Ranger. Only with the help of the strongest African American Rangers in history he can defend the legacy of Zordon!"
If you're a fan of the Power Rangers franchise, there's no doubt that you're gonna enjoy this...
