I know what you’re thinking. Bloody Ballet. In the same year as the Suspiria remake. Some serious homage going on, right? Well no, not that much actually. Whilst definitely nodding to the Argento classic, this is certainly not trying to be it. Playing out more like Black Swan meets early eighties video nasty, Bloody Ballet, or Fantasma as it is also known, is well worth your time.
Focusing on talented but troubled Adriana (Kendra Carelli), we see her fight her inner demons to accept her worth as the lead in her colleges upcoming performance of The Nutcracker. As if her increasing mental struggles weren’t enough to contend with, there is also the little...

With our Wrong Turn contest having ended on April 15th, we can announce the winner of the signed Blu-ray copies of Wrong Turn 3, Wrong Turn 4, and Wrong Turn 5 as well as a screen-used full facial prosthetic appliance worn by actor Radoslav Parvanov (Saw Tooth) in Wrong Turn 5!
“I think it would be interesting to see a family member of Wrong Turn 5's Lita team with a group of hired guns to track down Maynard and the cannibals in an all-out war,” said contest winner Matt Cloude, who had weighed in with his thoughts for a potential sixth in the franchise as well as having correctly identified the actor who portrayed Saw Tooth in Wrong Turn 5, per the contest rules.
Commented filmmaker Declan O'Brien, who wrote and directed the last three films, “Congratulations to Matt on winning! I hope we'll see a Wrong Turn 6 in the future, but if you want...

Origins. Re-Animated. Re-Animation. Resurrection. Mimesis. There are so many Night of the Living Dead themed projects out there right now, it's getting really hard to keep track of them all. Will Night of the Living Dead: Genesis rise above, or will it be another one for the fire?
Below you'll find some artwork and work print footage for the upcoming film, which was directed by Matt Cloude. The film itself stars original Notld star Judith O'Dea along with Sarah Snyder, Mike Lord, David Witt, Donna Gee Rousseau, Cyrus Samson, Christy Johnson, David Crawford, Jessica Dole, Jim Krut, Mike Christopher, David Early, Zombie #1 Bill Hinzman's daughter Heidi Hinzman, John Migliore, and Wade Brown.
With this film Cloude is looking to pay homage to the timeless classic while expanding upon its storyline to explore more of the night when the dead began to rise.
Look for more on this one soon,...

Back in February, I posted on here about an upcoming remake/reimagining of "Night of the Living Dead" written & directed by Matt Cloude. You can read the original story at Unless you follow the production of the film on Facebook, you probably figured the dead aren't rising after all & may in fact be at rest. Nothing could be further from the truth. Earlier today, I received a link to workprint footage of the film. Keep in mind it has yet to go…...

A day many of us have been waiting for has arrived. I'm normally not a fan of remakes/reimaginings. But then I learned about this while I was at MonsterMania Con last September in Maryland. While I was walking through the vendor room I came upon the table promoting the latest version of "Night of the Living Dead" by Matt Cloude. Matt was there and I had a chance to speak with him for some time regarding his vision for this horror classic. And the…...
