Cristina Aldridge

Cristina Aldridge, a Houston native, is a film
and theatre actress. She began her training at Humphrey's School of
Musical Theatre and Theatre Under the Stars at the age of 7. With the
company she performed in several musical productions, including
Disney's Beauty and the Beast, featured at the Houston Thanksgiving Day
Parade. In elementary and middle school she was a member of two
competitive ensembles, Show Choir and Singers and also competed in
Piano. She attended Lamar High and was a member of Lamar Theatre Club.
There she was cast in one of the highly anticipated student one-act
plays Farewell to Galatea as the role of Ms. Bedford. She also
performed in the school choirs which included Prep, Choraliers, Chorale
and Madrigals Honor Choir. She continues her training with Next Actor
Studios through which she landed roles in 2 short movies including The
Gist, Suicide Love, and her first feature length movie called Sugar
Baby, directed by Trisha Ray where she played Sally, a lead character.
The movie was shot in Calcutta, India and wrapped in May 2009. She has
recently been cast by Stage Door Inc. in the musical stage production
of Little Shop of Horrors as one of the Doo Wop girls. Cristina is very
excited about her future in acting. She plans to continue her training
in method acting and pursue a career in both film and theatre.
