According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harlin also is producing the project with George Lascu, Michael P. Flannigan and David Imedashvili. The drama involves an American journalist and his cameraman caught in the crossfire and a Georgia native (Chriqui) and doctoral student who becomes involved with them.

"Entourage" regular Emmanuelle Chriqui has been cast in the lead female role in "Georgia," the war film being directed by Renny Harlin.
Val Kilmer also is headed to the former Soviet state to take the role of a journalist involved in covering last year's military conflict between Russia and Georgia.
Harlin also is producing the project with Rex Films duo George Lascu and Michael P. Flannigan and David Imedashvili.
