- [2023] [Your family is Italian but you grew up in Peterborough. Did you have an idyllic foodie childhood?] Not just my childhood! It's still like that now! My mum's side are from Naples and my dad's side from Sicily. Gathering around the table for big Italian family dinners with pastas and meat and fish and antipasto and wine was a big part of my growing up and who I am.
- [2023] [As a teen, were you a laid-back dope-smoker like your Skins (2007) character?] No, I wasn't anything like Freddie at all really. I didn't skateboard, I wasn't a smoker, I didn't do any of that sort of stuff. But I think the loving, caring, sensitive side of Freddie is more like who I am as a person.
- [2023] [What show do you mostly get recognised from?] It's still Skins (2007). Skins was the very first job that I had when I turned 18. I think that is still the show that I get recognised from the most, just because of its cult following. There was nothing else like it at the time, so it stands out in a lot of people's minds.
