DeSean William Jackson (born December 1, 1986) is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Jackson has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and was the first player selected to the Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year when he was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and return specialist.
Led the Pacific-10 Conference in Receiving Yards Per Reception (18) in 2006.
Has led the NFL in receiving average three times
(2010, 2014 and 2016).
One of only two players in NFL history to have
recorded a rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown
and a punt return touchdown in each of his first three
seasons, joining Dick Todd (1939-41).
In 2009, became the first player in NFL history to earn
a Pro Bowl berth at two positions (wide receiver &
punt returner).
