- David Burkhart is an American actor known best for his portrayal of the infamous Charles Manson on Reelz Channel's hit series Murder Made Me Famous, as well as his memorable role as Brian, a haphazard stoner, in the cult classic horror reboot, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich. His work as the former garnered him national coverage in both People and Us Weekly, the latter of which described his performance as "chilling." Known for his powerful presence and voice, piercing eyes, and strong original character work, David is a hard working actor who leaves it all on the table. "I work hard so that the audience can feel something as well as myself. If neither one of those happen, then I haven't done my work. I put everything I have into everything that I do, artistically."
A native Oklahoman born and raised, David is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he received both his bachelor's and master's degree in journalism and media arts. It was at OU where he developed his love for films and filmmaking, which soon transitioned into his beginnings as a screen actor. A stage actor at heart, though, David continues to perform on stage several times a year, and even started his own theatre company, The Vagrant Cat Theatre Co. which produces one or two contemporary plays a year.
Aside from his craft, David enjoys photography and is an avid yoga practitioner, and hopes to complete his teacher training in 2024. He is the son of Rita and Louis Burkhart, whom he credits his career to.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Rainer Wittrock
