Will Truman, a killer?
Never! That's just Eric McCormack playing a murder suspect opposite his former Will & Grace costar on The Mysteries of Laura.
In their special reunion episode airing this Wednesday, Debra's character Laura Diamond accuses McCormack, aka Dr. Andrew Devlin, of killing his wife to "get off the financial hamster wheel."
"I wouldn't be in this mess if I didn't marry the right woman," harrumphs McCormack in response.
Who, exactly, was the right woman? It turns out that Laura and Andrew were previously engaged. And it looks like the passion is still there – at least for Andrew.

Somewhere in TV land, Will & Grace‘s Jack and Karen are feeling left out.
Debra Messing on Thursday shared a photo of herself with former co-star Eric McCormack on the Mysteries of Laura set, where the (platonic) TV super-couple is reuniting for a very special episode.
As previously reported, McCormack is playing Dr. Andrew Devlin, a “roguish” heart surgeon who also happens to be — wait for it — Laura’s ex-fiancé!
(Hmm… Not so platonic anymore, are we?)
Check out the photo in full below, then drop a comment: Which other former Will & Grace-rs need to get on this show?

Will and Grace are back together. Eric McComack and Debra Messing, stars of Will and Grace, are reuniting on Messing's freshman NBC series The Mysteries of Laura. McCormack shared the above picture of the two former costars and they look as happy as clams. "Dropping in on an old friend. Well, not Old..." he tweeted. Look for McCormack to play Dr. Andrew Devlin, described as a "roguish" and "arrogant-as-can-be" heart surgeon. Oh, he also happens to be Laura Diamonds' (Messing) former fiancé. His ex-wife is murdered and he becomes the prime suspect in Laura's investigation. Sparks will fly! In April, rumors swirled about a full on Will and Grace reunion, but sadly they...

Could one of our favorite TV couples finally be reuniting? Well, if you're a "Will & Grace" fan your dreams are about to come true! Former Must See TV costars Eric McCormack and Debra Messing will be reuniting on the small screen for an upcoming episode of Debra's new series, "The Mysteries of Laura". McCormack will guest star as Dr. Andrew Devlin, Laura's [Messing] ex-fiance who is a "roguish arrogant-as-can be heart surgeon" ... and the number one suspect in his ex-wife's murder. Debra stars in the series' title role of NYPD homicide detective, Laura Diamond, who juggles work, an ex-husband and two kids. So throwing a former flame into the mix is bound to stir up some drama! It's been nine years since "Will & Grace" ended and we've really missed the witty duo's amazing chemistry. Hopefully we'll get to see some of that famous banter when the stars reunite on the series.

Fans of NBC’s hit sitcom Will & Grace will soon be getting a reunion of their favorite duo when Eric McCormack guest stars on Debra Messing’s new NBC series The Mysteries of Laura. The casting news was announced by the network yesterday. Even though this is a Will & Grace reunion of sorts, both Messing and, especially, McCormack will be playing very different characters than those they played back on the long-running sitcom, which aired for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006. Messing’s Laura Diamond is a NYPD homicide detective, who must juggle both her professional and personal life, as she raises her twin sons. During his guest stint, McCormack will be playing Dr. Andrew Devlin, who is described as “a roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon” and who also happens to be Laura’s former fiancé (that’s right—on Mysteries of Laura, Will and Grace almost got married). In the episode,...

Get those wine glasses ready, Will & Grace fans, because Will and Grace are about to be reunited. Will & Grace star Eric McCormack will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Debra Messing's show, The Mysteries of Laura, as her ex-fiance. Unfortunately, he's also a murder suspect. McCormack will be guest-starring as Dr. Andrew Devlin, a "roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon" who happens to have been engaged to Laura once upon a time. His ex-wife has been murdered, and he becomes Laura's lead suspect. Apparently, sparks will fly. Will & Grace ran on NBC for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006 and broke a lot of ground in terms of Lgbt...
