During the Cannes Film Festival, word got out that John Woo and Terence Chang of Lion Rock Productions is teaming up with Korean-based Kimjonghak Production and Taiwan-based Tosoa Entertainment to produce the upcoming 3D fantasy epic Legend Of The Magic Bell. Budgeted at $30 million Us, Kim Jonghak, the director of the top-rated Korean TV series The Legend of Four Gods, will helm the Chinese-language film from a script by Guo Zheng, the screenwriter of Red Cliff. Taiwanese actress Renee Yuan is set to star while Korean actor Won Bin and K-popstar Rain is in talks for possible male leads.
