Les Miles has been “relieved of his duties” as Louisiana State University’s head football coach, Lsu’s Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva announced Sunday. Ed Orgeron is the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2016 season. Orgeron joined the Lsu staff in 2015 as defensive line coach and has since also stepped into the role of recruiting coordinator. “Decisions like this are never easy ones to make,” Alleva said. “Coach Miles has done a tremendous job here and he’s been a great ambassador for our University, which makes this even more difficult.” Also Read: Acc Is Latest League.
