He got his first radio job in 1947 at WHBI in Newark, New Jersey; WNJR in Newark, New Jersey; and host of the Kit Cat Club in the 1950s and 1960s. He also worked as a disc jockey for WVNJ in Newark, New Jersey and WEVD in New York City. He also worked for WNYC in New York City; WNSW; WJDM, and WPAT.
