Sara Spink is an American artist, animator and educator based in New York, NY. In 2011 she received an MFA in Animation & Digital Arts from the University of Southern California as a Jacob K Javits Fellow.
Sara has been passionate about animation since she began creating flip books at the age of 8. She began her animation career at Beavis and ButtHead in Los Angeles, after which she moved to San Francisco to work on Henry Selick's "the Shadow King". At that time her primary focus shifted to stop-motion animation, and she worked on music videos and other short-format freelance projects. In 2013 Sara moved to Portland, Oregon to join the puppet department at Laika Entertainment.
