Cristina Plesa

A 2010 graduate of the Drama School with the Hyperion University, in
Bucharest, Romania, Cristina studied in the class mentored by Maia
Morgenstern, Constantin Florescu and Amalia Ciolan. She took parts in
plays written by Isaac Bashevis Singer, Eugen Ionesco, Mihail
Sebastian, Matei Visniec and Carlo Goldoni. She was also in poetry
recitals dedicated to major Romanian poets Nichita Stanescu and Mircea
Cartarescu. While still a student Cristina was in productions of the
State Jewish Theater of Bucharest, TES, directed by Catalina Buzoianu
and Erwin Simsensohn. At TES Cristina plays in both Romanian and
Yiddish, while also mastering English, Spanish and French.
