- Bert Papenfuß was born on January 11, 1956 in Stavenhagen, East Germany [now Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany]. He was a writer, known for Poesie des Untergrunds (2009), Förräderi (1994) and Anderson - Anatomie des Verrats (2014). He died on August 26, 2023 in Germany.
- Served in the East German army as a Bausoldat (construction soldier).
- From 1999 to 2009 he was co-owner of the Kaffee Burger club (famous for Wladimir Kaminers Russendisko), where he coordinated the cultural program Salon Brückenkopf.
- Is co-editor of the anarchistic magazine Gegner and the cultural magazine Zonic.
- Worked in theater in Schwerin and from 1976 forward, Berlin.
