“Central Park,” the hit animated musical comedy series from Apple TV+, will return for its third season on Friday, September 9. Original cast member Kristen Bell is returning to star in Season 3 in the new role of Abby, Paige’s little sister.
In Season 1, Bell voiced Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.) and Paige’s (Kathryn Hahn) mixed raced daughter Molly, but she exited the series in 2020 because she believed it unjust for her to voice a biracial character.
“Casting a mixed race character w/a white actress undermines the specificity of the mixed race & Black American experience,” Bell’s statement read at the time.
From creator, writer and executive producer Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith, the 13-episode third season of “Central Park” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with three episodes. It will be followed by one episode weekly every Friday through November 18.

Chris here. Last night the lineup was revealed for the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in a big casting extravaganza like Drag Race used to do in the old days. These casting specials really should be required for each season because we get to spend solo time with each queen that the workroom can't afford. And for an All Stars season it allows the newer viewers an opportunity to get to know queens from early seasons. But onto the queens - this year's lineup is also stocked full of "eliminated too soon" queens to go with the fan favorites:
Aja (Season 9) BenDeLaDreme (Season 6) Chi Chi Devayne (Season 8) Kennedy Davenport (Season 7) Milk (Season 6) Morgan McMichaels (Season 2) Shangela (Season 2 and 3) Thorgy Thor (Season 8) Trixie Mattel (Season 7)

Insinuating that the realization of the star's sexuality somehow destroys the impact of the hit Disney Channel show "That's So Raven" on their development, the amount of Twitter users hashtagging #childhoodruined seems surprising in a supposedly more open era of human expression, especially among younger generations.

No, silly, the reality show’s spin-off, RuPaul’s Drag U — the series that finds Drag Race alums making over what RuPaul refers to as “biological women” — returns for 10 brand-new episodes on June 20 at 9 p.m., and EW has exclusively learned the list of luminaries serving as guest judges this coming season. As you can see from the photo here, Glee’s Dot Jones — who plays fan-favorite Coach Beiste and is pictured with...

Eat your heart out, Pacey.
Last night Logo (AfterElton.com's parent company) celebrated its big, fun, fancy, silly NewNowNext Awards at The Avalon in Hollywood (watch this Monday on Logo at 10pm Et), and in addition to serving up some sassy awards to some pretty fabulous folks, the event was a great big party. James Van Der Beek hosted (and yes, there were some great self-referential Dawson’s Creek jokey moments and a quip about “Are these the 2001 NewNowNext Awards?”) and he was pretty freakin’ great at it. Sorry, Franco… There’s a new (now/next) go-to awards show host in town, and he brings a wide range of emotions to the table.
The show featured blistering kickass musical performances by Robyn (she debuted a new song “Call Your Girlfriend!”), Wynter Gordon, Oh Land and Panic! at the Disco, and some hot onstage moments by the stunning Joe Manganiello from True Blood,...

Last night's premiere for RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 was held at Rage in West Hollywood and brought out a lot of star power. Among the familiar faces were Adam Lambert, Vanessa Williams and The A-List: New York's Mike Ruiz (who was overheard on the red carpet describing himself as "the Queen of Logo!")
Here's hoping that RuPaul and many of Drag Race's fabulous former contestants on hand last night (Raven, Ongina, Tammie Brown, etc.) didn't hear that. Otherwise, Mike might have a fight on his hands.
Luckily for us here at AfterElton.com, we had some friends on hand for the event (thanks Lisamarie, thanks Clint!) and they got some killer shots from the red carpet. Enjoy!
