That decision probably made Nick decide to quit#TheApprentice

A to Z‘s hopeless romantic Andrew has lots of great qualities, as Zelda points out in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode (NBC, 9:30/8:30c). But does he have what it takes to defend his girl from strangers who call her “a dirty ho”?
“There’s an issue of who wears the pants in the relationship,” star Cristin Milioti tells TVLine. With that in mind, sweet, sensitive Andrew goes about trying to prove his mettle and “that he’s actually a masculine guy… The dynamic is so often the other way, where Zelda is more of a guy.

Andrew counts down Doctor Who's top 10 Dalek stories, from Invasion Earth to The Power of the Daleks...
A cosmos without the Daleks scarcely bears thinking about.
Without the mutated remnants of the seemingly indestructible planet Skaro, we don't know if Doctor Who would have survived. If Terry Nation had dreamt up the Voord to menace Barbara in the series fifth episode, Den of Geek may well be paying tribute to Doctor Who as an obscure cult concern, cherished by a few but forgotten by many. Instead, we do things like this.
This list is not limited to the television series, because Doctor Who isn't limited to the television series. And hey, why not use our Comments Section to add your own list or express disbelief that I've not included Evil of the Daleks in mine?
10. Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.
There's something eternally...

Review Andrew Blair 21 Jun 2013 - 07:25
A documentary or a mockumentary? Andrew catches up with Shooting Bigfoot at the Edinburgh International Film Festival...
What do we know about Bigfoot? We have a regularly updated list of comedians who haven't seen one, thanks to Richard Herring's podcasts. We know, thanks to Anchorman, that his penis smells like a turd covered with burnt hair (although this smells like desire to some people). What Shooting Bigfoot reminds us during its introduction is that he has a strange appeal to children, a legendary creature who really belongs in the imagination of the young. Or possibly those with child-like minds. There are other truths to be found in this film. It's sad, hilarious, and will provoke debate among those who witness it.
We live in a world where The Apprentice is accepted as entertainment, with its paper-thin façade of realism concocted in the editing suite.

The upcoming season of Arrested Development will feature 14 episodes that each tell their own story. Each one will have elements that connect to each other, eventually giving a bigger picture when the whole season has been watched. As Alyssa Rosenberg of Think Progress notes, that makes it the first TV show that can be watched in any order, making it a show that can be watched in a nonlinear fashion, something that could only be achieved on a streaming service like Netflix.
Apparently, ABC chief Paul Lee was so enthusiastic about Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot when talking to reporters at the TCA that its difficult to imagine it not making the fall schedule.
You can't fire Britney Spears, she quits!

9.00am: It's a big day for Europe. Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy are meeting to thrash out details of a plan that could set up a fiscal union in Europe and may (or may not) lead to some sort of resolution of the debt crisis. But this blog - like the UK - is sitting on the sidelines. My colleague Alex Hawkes will be covering the Merkozy meeting on the business live blog. And I'll be covering events at Westminster, where the most lively before 4pm will be Leveson - The Sequel, a star-studded committee hearing featuring Hugh Grant, Steve Coogan and Max Mosley who may well spend an hour telling MPs and peers exactly what they told Leveson.
Here's the diary for the day.

Top Chef Preseason keeps rolling along with Top Chef: Texas Episode 2, entitled “The Heat Is On” (or “The H Is O”, if you’re in a rush, which we are because we have 9 trillion chefs to eliminate before we can start the competition. Literally 9 trillion! They hired the earth’s population many times over this year through advanced cloning techniques, and it’s still surprisingly nonengaging to watch.) Our colleague Noah Garfinkel (aka “Noah Garfinkle” in randomly angry comments) summed up our early-season boredom pretty accurately, saying that the only genuinely gripping aspect of Top Chef comes once you’re familiar with the contestants and are rooting for or against certain ones, and the Texas Twist is merely extending the portion of the show before it becomes engaging. Which makes sense. On the other hand, EMTattoos: This week, we’ll finish up Round Negative One when the third of...

Apprentice winner Yasmina Siadatan is reportedly four months pregnant with a work colleague's baby. Siadatan, who won the fifth series of The Apprentice last year, fell for Andrew Hepburn within weeks of starting her job at AMScreen Healthcare and they are now expecting their first child, according to the Sunday Mirror. She told the newspaper: "I feel very lucky. Life is brilliant at the moment. We're really enjoying everything that comes with it. Things are really good." A friend added: "Yasmina knew she was taking a risk by getting involved with someone at work, but it just (more)...
